  1. Can be done. I had a S15 helical in the back of my R34. When that ended, I got an actual VLSD from the new donor R34. The VLSD felt much better. Would not go back to Helical ever again. Only because people typically get more power in these things. With more power, dat inside wheel single spinning is a problem. 2/10 would not do again/glad I no longer have it
  2. I have a splinter in my thumb and it's mildly annoying.
  3. I wouldn't know. Never tried to buy anything in the past. That is how I don't know. Hello internet authorities, look at how much this guy doesn't know.
  4. did lol recently when someone told me how much it cost to obtain acid, extacy, mushrooms, etc. immediately though WTF why bother drinking?
  5. Imagine a guy who had a 2.8 stroker and a built auto in a lighter car with a GTX3582 .... 14.7
  6. Can confirm factory plenum (at least on R34) is good for well over 400+ The difference in ACTUAL speed of a car is really not much AT ALL between 300 and 400 due to soooo many other things suddenly becoming a variable. A punchy as possible 280 is what you want unless you are willing to go full retard. A bolt on, IWG solution is the smart solution. Spend the rest of the money for your build on making the thing turn, drive well, stop, etc and you will have MUCH BETTER CAR. Source: MY WALLET.
  7. This video is a little skewed, they end up gaining 0.2s over a quarter mile, in a car that's "radically better" (it makes 80 more rwkw) Vs the not-best twins (hiflowed -7's? from GCG?), and they've gone twin scroll everything. Would be interested if they did it again with GTX2863 x2 with the same attention to the manifold and rear housings.
  8. My burnout was enough to be over 180 in the burnout pad.... Safe to say it was enough..... With 18psi in the tyres Did think about getting some Hoosiers but it isn't really my game and noone else seems to have to... Also needed to fix that traction control over 107...
  9. Also I'm now of the opinion the tyre grips road tarmac WAY better than a drag strip.. At least that's what I'm telling myself
  10. Confirmed... I have ad08R..... 60ft is bad. Boost leak means I have very little boost at the line, usually can launch at 7psi.. Later in the day I 'put some heat' into them that would make tyre whores cry.... Didnt help much. For me... NT05s seem the same. If the ad08r don't last twice as long I'll be pretty let down
  11. I could list all the things on the car but they only make the time look even more retardedly bad
  12. Just wait to see how badly I can f*** up deca DNF every stage? Do expect.
  13. Dunno actually. I assume they're the AD08's as they were the ones that came in that super deal awhile back. I did 14.7 at 131mph so... safe to say there wasn't a great deal of grip...
  14. Disappointed with AD08's Expected amazing grip. Not so much on a drag strip, it'd appear
  15. I would say it already is... it just doesn't seem alien or exotic because it's 'normal' Right Wing Christian extremism is equally as retarded, and deserves the same amount of respect. ... this not the same as financial conservatism
  16. Have to admit, pretty solid old bomb there, Birds. Reminiscient of the "That 70's show" one.
  17. Wet skidpan is fine... wet back track though.... my fear is real, even though there's no enbankments
  18. is this where I say I've basically been divorced twice no deaths tho yet.
  19. I think it'd only be weird because it's quite self-evident. Could up the ante and say the relationship will end in heartbreak OR death. Good times!
  20. There was quite a good write up on the build of the F1 car and the rather large track day enthusiast that now owns it.... and his viper.
  21. ^---- that is the truest of all. Other numbers, lap times. It's all just numbers. It's all just some kind of respresentation of some aspect of the car. You can think of the drag strip as either an "advanced dyno" or a reason to live.
  22. Drove paranoid as during dat arctic vortex. Standing water everywhere on bald NT05's with a fked alignment. Get dem ad08's on and aligned, car actually feels wildly better. Road also dry figure give it a squirt, car still feeling good aftermarket traction control working nicely hit a paddle on dat dere built auto of goodness problem is damn thing shifts so hard it breaks traction, even with no throttle input of course not expecting this (even though it does it every time I shift up at high rpm/load) slam on brakes and generally panic like a noob sliding 4 wheels towards kerb/BP entrance/potentially solid objects thank you, AD08Rs and dat dere BBK what do we say to the god of "Greg f**ks up shit as soon as its actually near perfect" not today
  23. Hey mate - There's quite a lot of rental places right on the ring that you can rent. I personally used RSRNurburg. All the prices are pretty similar (expensive!) but.... I mean you're there, you pay the money, you do it, and have fun, and then you can say you did it. Note: You don't need to rent the most amazing car to have fun there. I ended up doing it with the Clio RS with paddle shifters and had a blast. Mind you, it was in the middle of winter and -2C, so in such sketchy conditions a Prius would have been a massive handful!
  24. You have to do it through the lid. It's entirely possible. Just reach on in. To drop the tank you absolutely do need to drop the subframe... aaand in any case, you still have to go in through the lid. Source: Changed the pump in my car approximately seven million times.
  25. Coming from 245/275 Nitto NT05's 235/265 now Pilot Sport 3 fronts, AD08 rears. Did say I may track it, but he was more concerned i'd bin it driving in normal traffic or highway cruising. All tyres involved were a great deal, etc. Figured it'd be fine, if anything the PS3's should be more grippy than the AD08's, hence them being on the front of the car. But yeah. Slip angles apparently very different, told to take EXTREME caution, and I'd notice it within 5kms of driving the car if its gonna be a problem.
