  1. Cheers for that mate yeh it mustve been when smashed by previous owner its a coupe. Another question-Can and will the series 2 dash with optional passenger airbag and steering wheel with airbag be fitted in a series 1 without too much fuss? I havnt driven the car in near a year and a half and was considering doing it up for my missus but dont want her and my daughter driving a car without airbags.

  6. Hey SAU Im back on the forum after a couple of years. The good ol' R33 gtst has been sitting in the driveway for bout a year and a half now gathering dirt and growing some rust unreg'd.Was thinking of doing her up for the missus. Only thing is I'm a little concerned about her and my daughter in a car with no airbags since its a series 1 without the original steering wheel.Hence I was thinking of trying to find an original series 2 wheel with airbag plus the dash with the optional passenger airbag.Dont get me wrong she can drive she works for ford its just so many dicks on the road these days cant and I dont want to risk it one of the reasons I stopped driving it myself was that I was driving my daughter to school every morning without airbags. So was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to put the series 2 wheel and dash with airbags in a series 1 and if so whats involved ie. is it worth it obviously i'll get it done proffesionally but thought I'd ask here first.cheers
