  1. The HKS ones! I am looking at a kit and they are roughly all around 1K Might just make my own.
  2. I'm sorry but did you just say "WTB R32 GT-R Seats"?
  3. Don't be complaining about box shots now! Hoarding things like Smaug is half the fun of a rebuild.
  4. Aren't those kits expensive as sin!?
  5. I've seen a couple of spline drive pumps being developed on the interwebs over the years.
  6. Worse thing they ever did was take the cigarette money out of the sport, nothing but financial hardship since!
  7. Awesome mate, do you live over there currently? We'll have to catch up for a beer if so.
  8. Hey guys, Thanks for your replies. Terry, that sounds awesome, what do you guys know of car hire over there? It is something all of the guys would definitely like to do. The 5k is all in including flights and probably 1k spending money outside of food and getting around etc, that also includes JR ticket. We are not necessarily going to go through an agent, just using her to get an idea of rough cost. Please give me your ideas and tips! totally open for suggestions on what to do over there, we have 3 weeks and so far have only 4 days booked out. We are up for any sort of housing arrangement as long as it isn't shit hostels etc, all the guys have decent coin so we would rather spend the cash and have a good time! Cheers!
  9. Ain't nothin' slow about my thinning Yo. This is a story all about how my life got flipped, turned upside down And I'd like to take a minute just sit right there, I'll tell you how I became the prince of a town called No-Hair
  10. The High Court ruled against Toyota. Unfortunately this means that they will more than likely shut down their operations in Australia. Unless something can be done when the current EBA expires in 2015, unfortunately the decision has to be made before then. You may thank the AMWU for this.
  11. This has been coming for a long long time, the mere fact that they were asking the government "rent" year upon year shows how dreadfully unsustainable it was. QANTAS is a different story because they have a strategic national value that an automotive manufacturer does not. I think it is actually possible for Toyota to continue given the right conditions and flexibility in their workforce, they actually have the right kind of product, I doubt this will happen though Union officials seem to be willing to cut their nose to spite their face.
  12. Except it's actually a 3.9 litre so isn't comparable?
  13. Thanks for the feedback guys. I would like to see as much of traditional Japan as possible, Tokyo obviously plus Time attack and Nismo Festival of speed. So those regions basically. The travel agent reckons about $5000.000 for 3 weeks all in.
  14. What I would do is have a mandated standard cockpit area in size, weight COG and polar moment of inertia. This is given to teams, let's call it "The Box" So no matter who or what you put into "The Box" it has to meet the mandated standards.
  15. That sounds good, what would you expect the 0.92 divided to generate? using one of your manifolds.
  16. Legitimately a sad day.
  17. So what are we thinking then, BW 8374 0.92 IWG on BP98? (using full race manifold) Realistic figures for a built but standard displacement RB26, I can't get freakin' Matchbot to work on my handset ATM! (On a dynojet) The turbo looks the gear certainly, but I am just a little bit concerned of possible lagginess coming from twins, I know the engine can handle 2 Bar/ ~29Psi no worries. I only want a legit 400KW ATW and therefore want the best possible drive-ability for this power level. Geoff or Lith, anyone got any ideas?
  18. The only question is, for a 400 - 420 ATW KW GT-R 7670 or 8374? Both 0.92 Divided IWG. Hard choice!
  19. Yeah I have bought and used it, can see quite clear performance increases, just my personal observations from use.
  20. http://www.rhdjapan.com/os-giken-close-gear-kit-5-speed-nissan-rb26dett-input-shaft.html $2800 Paul, not sure what you're looking for but that's a pretty decent price. I think I am going to do if it stays like that a little while!
  21. Send it straight to fair trading. Catch them out, I'm assuming threads like this get back to them though.
  22. It was an aluminium cup, then I took a welder to the knee.
