  1. Nah never driven a supra. Agree on the -5's perfect turbo for the job.
  2. I get the feeling if you are using E85 + high CR on a 3 Litre then you might even be able to go bigger then GT-SS without sacrificing any response, thoughts ?
  3. Everything above is 100% correct.
  4. Glovebox ? That's where mine were when i bought my car LOL
  5. Where did you source the carbon from ? Awesome write up man, its basically the mighty ducks of car development.
  6. Check the Dyno threads for RB26 for an idea what the turbos will make. GT-SS's will not make 550WHP on 98 Fuel, also these would be too small on a 3 litre bottom end. -5's May* make this power and would be my choice for a streetable solution on a 3 litre bottom end. Don't know enough about the 3510(s*) to comment. * = depends on setup and head etc. Politely Ask N1GTR about his setup (3L bottom end with GT-RS x 2 but now going to -5's)
  7. If they don't get behind webber at this stage then they are really doing everything they possibly can to lose the drivers title.
  8. Whats an Evo with that sort of power like to drive around town ? I cant see it being as nice as a GT-R of the same power from a purely physics point of view. Yeah I prefer the GT-R interiors too, Don't know what it is about the evos but the interior just doesn't feel right a bit cheap maybe.
  9. Oh I mean using the GT-R as a track weapon, they are an expensive exercise, whilst the evo might not be as ultimately fast, it is fair amount cheaper along the way. But GT-R all the way, I have a 32 and love it like a son
  10. Ill also add that being faster in the GT-R will take the fun out of it.
  11. Get a mate who is good with the tiggy and fab your own up, seriously no one can give you as close to exactly what you want as you can. cheaper too, plus zero compatibility issues.
  12. No one Um's and Ah's over the choice between GT-SS'S and a T62R LOL.
  13. And just as a sidenote, what do we all think of the ARC airbox ?
  14. My uncle has a SS ute, cant remember what year maybe 03 or later something like that. Nice to drive around town, is at the power level where it actually begins to make daily driving interesting. Pretty "fast" compared to my daily which is an SR5 Corolla wagon and a corolla hatch before that. very nice just to be able to cruise around with the auto and have super lazy torque at your command, makes driving effortless. Still boring compared to driving the GT-R though, something to be said for having 400 less kilos and 2.5 times the horsepower
  15. Think of what you'de make on 2530's though
  16. So your going with the GT-SS ? Good choice, the response is all that and a bag of crisps.
  17. If she's in the car it means she isn't in the kitchen, unless you have a mobile home.
  18. Had work done at GT AUTO and they were excellent. Even if I wasn't looking to put an Fcon in my car I would take it there.
  19. Just an observation mate, that circuit looks like a freeway with a few small radial bends and he still is no where near being up to put the power down.
  20. Depends where and what you buy, and who you get to do the work. 20k could get you a seriously fast 32 GT-R even if you started from stock, but as you already have a fair few sweet mods it would go a LONG way. Think about it, start with a stocker; sell the 26 bottom end sell the standard cooler and piping sell the standard injectors and fuel rail sell the standard fuel pump sell the airflow meters sell the standard turbos sell the standard dumps and exhaust sell the standard ecu. I would think there would be a few grand in all that. Now, doing all the work yourself you could have a built 30 bottom end under your 26 head with 4wd adapter for 7k or even less I'm sure. now go buy 1000cc injectors, fuel rail, fuel pump(s), intercooler and pipes, -5 turbos, nice big exhaust system , ECU,boost controller. I've probably left things out but i think that would come in under 20k and you would have a 400awkw GT-R. Mind you this would be ghetto spec modification.
  21. Mark needs 1 strong finish (ahead of vettel) and then it all begins to look considerably better.
  22. How come there is a separate site ?
  23. The way I look at it is that I don't think im going to get better brakes, or even similar for anywhere near the same money.
