  1. Hey Luke, just wondering if your coils were for an r33gtst or a r34gt-4 specific kit? *Apparently* the front shocks in the GT-4 are similar to 33/34GTR which means the front wouldn't fit an R33 gtst. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...t&p=4943310
  2. Does the drive spin up or make any noise at all? I had the same thing happen with a 40gb seagate a few years ago, something on the PCB went faulty and nothing would recognise the drive anymore. Swapping with circuit from another drive allowed me to get off what i needed.
  3. Cheers Luke but I'm not sure if the 34 pumps drop straight in, the Walbro is sounding like a good option tho.
  4. yeah 044 is external, the nismo ones i've seen for >600 so they're out. 33 GTR pump will drop straight in but i'm expecting Nissan to give some sort of shit pricing. What trouble did you have with the 040 Abe? Hardest part of the install looks like positioning it close enough to the bottom of the tank.
  5. Anyone know roughly what a 33 GTR fuel pump is worth? Or should I just drop in a 040.
  6. I think the switch was only on S2 33's.
  7. Spotted a white 33 with GTR wing parked in a driveway near my house, plates XVG-XXX. Last weekend there was also a 31 there think the plates were GTS025 anyone from here?
  8. a 3G dongle? not by plugging it directly in to a playstation. You would need to share it over an existing wired/wireless network and even then the 3G connection will be way too laggy to do any gaming.
  9. Matty in the 4x4 on Rundle about 9:30(?) Then a cop successfully pulling a 3 point turn shortly after, must have had training this week xD
  10. Is anyone heading out on the Sunday morning cruise?
  11. MAP sensor runs off manifold pressure, I see VLT's with AFM just before the throttle body so they can bolt up a dose pipe so def works.
  12. Yep my face and neck are on fire already. Good to see everyone out and meet a few new people, great to see such a collection of fine jap machinery too!
  13. I get charged $1500 "vehicle excess" just for it being a skyline, you obviously don't get this? Plus age excess (21), then the standard excess all adds up to 2550, not to mention the $300 a month I hand over. Costs a fortune but i'm on the road heaps and is still cheaper than paying for someones BMW or even my own repairs if I hit something.
  14. Plates start with XUG-xxx by any chance?
  15. black/grey 32 behind me on the way to lofty yesterday evening, sounded like it had a bit of ext gate action going on
  16. Yeah think it was, I was half under the car trying to get my boot open, heard RB and turned around in time to see purple, good little stretch you were heading towards
  17. White 33, then about 5 minutes later a purple 33 going up lower north east rd around 6 last night.
  18. Spotted black/grey? R32 and someone in a SAU hoodie at o'connel st bakery tonight.
  19. incase anyone didn't know cause I certainly didn't, *any* skidding/sliding/burnouts, even taking off from the lights with a bit of wheel spin equals instant 7 day impound + usual rapage. You only have to be suspected of being the one doing them to get booked for it, so if your in an area where someones being an idiot, leave fast. One of my mates found this out the hard way.
  20. gold(?) R34 turning from salisbury hwy on to kings rd about 12:30, sounded niiiiiice.
  21. Boost leak? could be a clamp come loose, split joiner, joiner popping off, etc.
  22. Anyone know what an r33 rear cut (subframe optional) landed in Adelaide would be worth? Don't see em around too often but I can't imagine more than a couple k?
  23. hehe, yeah Spotted a silver 33 with the bonnet up at the top of Hallet Rd yesterday evening, tried getting your attention on my way past to see if you needed a hand but I guess you didn't notice someone shouting at you or what? Hope everything was alright.
  24. Hi Guys, Hoping someone might have some useful tips for getting in to my boot. Last night i took a bit of a knock on the rear end and after opening the boot, the latch no longer lined up and it wouldn't shut. I was able to slightly bend the metal latch on the car side, and slightly bend the latch on the boot side so they lined up and closed. I knew it was a possibility the latch wouldn't release after this but I had a fair trip home and needed it to stay shut. Basically now the latch won't release with either the key or the in-cabin boot release, I've thought about taking the back seats out, removing the metal plate and trying to crawl through the tiny gap but I've got a lot of audio equipment in the boot and wouldn't be able to reach the latch anyway. Any tips from anyone? It was the fender that took a hit and the boot lid is still in fine condition so I'd prefer not to go smashing it open if it can be avoided, but I might not have much choice left. Thanks, Nick.
  25. Yeah woulda been me will have to start honkin busses as well lol.
