  1. Anyone know if 33gtr seat sits lower than 33gtst? Starting to get a bit annoyed with my head rubbing the roof.
  2. Only difference a pager will make is you'll be alerted as soon as the alarm goes off and can run out and start cracking some heads, or be confronted by a group of local derros. Pagers can still be jammed, and most clublocks wont last even a minute. As mentioned all you can really do is hope to keep the small time snatch and grab low lifes away, make sure to get fully comp insurance as at the end of the day that will be your best protection.
  3. Japanese Import Spares, Japanese Motorsport For Sale section of the forums, recommended workshops sticky in the SA section.
  4. BIT SUS leaving(?) G1 around 2pm, was the white 33 unloading chairs.
  5. Anyone heading to G1?
  6. Black 33 st Bernards Rd, see it most mornings/afternoons. Black Holden ute pulled over on lower north near houghton with JIS stickers all on the back, and a dark purple/black 33 gtr on lower north near houghton.
  7. Mine don't move at all stay in place just as well as the OEM mats. $5 for 33 tunnel mat sent.
  8. Did dyno run a few weeks ago and now wondering what it means and how much more can be gained. Setup is fairly stock, 3" turbo back, 12psi, superspark coils. My limited knowledge of AFR's tells me this gets fairly rich, and by getting the WOT AFR closer to 12.5-13.2 I could squeeze more power from it? Can anyone estimate how much? And what would be the best method, haltech, safc, pfc (nothing wrong with future proofing Only have the boost/afr part pic of the sheet with me at work, if the whole sheet is required then I'll upload once home. Also, what causes the 10. flat spot at the end of the run, injectors maxed/ecu? Thanks!
  9. l4d2 looks pretty cool, downloaded international demo last week . mw2 & new battlefield
  10. Anyone else seen todays new south park? starts out pretty funny
  11. As to not clutter up the fs thread. Damo, just get one of these: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Turbotech-manual-tu...#ht_1490wt_1167 http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/go...ntr-t73375.html stock 33 turbz
  12. + f**king 1 Cyclist think they own the road and everyone has to watch out for them and give them right of way, that's not the way it works. Roads are for cars, cars mow down cyclist, they should watch the f**k out and use some common sense. A cyclist cut my mum off once then had the nerve to abuse her when he got beeped at, legged it quick smart through a red light when a 6ft5 giant stepped out of the passenger side.
  13. Yeah turnout was crap, probably because it was hardly advertised. I think the pt Adelaide meeting actually had more people, not surprising since it was actually whored out on every car forum in Adelaide.
  14. So you've disconnected all speakers AND inputs, verified all fuses are in good condition and checked at the amps power terminals to make sure the full 12-13v is being delivered OK? How is power configured going to the amp, is there a distribution block along the way that might also have fuses or bad/burnt connections in it?
  15. iirc it's about 24 bucks a bottle, try to find a foam applicator pad attachment for a drill as it is easier to work with than a standard "bonnet buff pad" which tend to break apart easier, I tried doing it by hand but took ages and came out no where near as good. Anyone know of an Adelaide store to get 2500 & 3000 grit wet sand paper? Bunnings etc finish up around 2000 grit which is way too course.
  16. Light scratches & scuffs came out using plastx and a buff pad on my drill, most will require sandpaper though. note this guide: http://www.meguiarsonline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20994 I had trouble finding paper above 2000 grit at bunnings & stratco, haven't tried searching again since.
  17. Illumination wire, when the parkers are turned on this wire is given voltage, it's what tells the headunit/dash lights to dim when the parkers/headlights are turned on. No sure what colour wire this is in the 34, theres a few schematics floating around the forums though.
  18. Checked none of the hose clamps have come loose and all intake hoses are on nice and tight? Had something similar a while a go, when backing off at around 70kmh the car would jolt, was just a loose clamp.
  19. Approx what size was the box? What sort of price would this come in at to mold a box/template for a 33? I've been toying with the idea of getting molds made up to sit in each corner of the boot but not sure if the box volume will be big enough for deep bass hits.
  20. Rolled guards finally, ftw. No paint cracks or nuttin!
  21. parked next to a silver 34 with shopping list on the side at the grove, then a white 33 at the montague/north east lights heading up monague bout 1am.
  22. Not to mention a couple of w7's would probably kill a prefab box.
  23. I'm always suspect of victoria/war memorial during the day let alone even thinking about parking at night, always smashed window glass and other crap along them. As has been said check out JIS/JMS, also the for sale section of SAU as you might find someone wrecking a 32 you can get cheap parts off. If you're referring to the key barrel go speak to a locksmith (the key cutter in your westfield is not a locksmith, try Australian Locksmiths, Knights Locksmith) a secondhand barrel will have a different key combo and you'll either need to get it re-keyed or have 1 key for your doors and another key to start the thing.
