  1. Cheers krish, currently have a drift magnetic with a nice bolt head moulded to the top for easy removal, will go in search of another at lunch time.
  2. Bout to head down to sprints and get some stuff for my first oil change since owning the line. Will 10w40 be sufficient? Say mobil 1. Which oil filter should I be looking at. Cheers!
  3. Holy shit that looks good Dion! What procedure for that finish?
  4. Whoever was posting the updates here seems to have disappeared My mate on one of the Toyota forums mentioned this to me the other day and was surprised nothing had been said here. ADELAIDE MOTORPLEX PUBLIC RALLY THIS Sunday 25th October @ 12.00pm Parliament House, North Terrace Adelaide. www.adelaidemotorplex.com.au
  5. It was only 10 minutes of a representative speaking on what the complex is hoping to achieve and how the government isn't helping at all. Only 1 pre-recorded caller from a person living on Garden Island stating they don't care if a race track is built there or not. Don't forget the protest is this sunday (which they didn't even touch on)
  6. Been talking about tasers since 8:30, heard something about drag strip coming up soon.
  7. Checked out the other theme packs they've hidden away? The Canadian wallpapers have some great views. C:\Windows\Globalization\MCT. iirc
  8. Does an eee even play 720/1080p to require a hdtv dongle? and msdn ftw!.
  9. Couple of options. Head to the Acer site and see if new drivers are out. and All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt (right click it) > Run as Administrator. at the command prompt, type "sfc /scannow" <enter> (no quotes) This will verify all windows system files & drivers. (<< this has been reported to fix other peoples kb/mouse problems on acers) And yes, if you're running Acer OEM windows I feel sorry for you EDIT>> Scrub all of that, if you have W7 to put on then go for it. Replacing Vista is the best fix you could do.
  10. Thinking of doing mine this weekend, concern being how ridgid is the guard after? The little lip looks like it adds reinforcement to the cut out, I don't want to end up with a weak edge that easily flexes about. Also anyone had insurance trouble with rolled guards?
  11. Anyone else seen page 20 of todays advertiser? I guess next we'll have some huge bitch session on the amount of car events Adelaide has, which tbh I didn't think was that many. Everyone better think twice before screaming around popping their manly turbochargers!
  12. You have an external kb/mouse you can try, or a live boot cd of some OS. Normally kb/touchpad would be a hardware fault but worth a shot, still got warranty?
  13. I've asked the same question, apparently Matcraft only have 4 piece sets for the R33.
  14. Please check your group buy email.
  15. Where abouts are you meeting/leaving from? Are you in the show or just going for a look, arriving 8:30am could be a tad early if the gates are opening to public at 10....
  16. Red 34 turning off Pulteney about 3:15pm, then shortly after a blue 33 coming down Glen Osmond.
  17. Only if you're buying from mp3car
  18. Bastards indeed, just in July I took out a policy on my 33, and yes it is an extra 600 bucks over a year when I'm paying by the month. Gotta save and have cash in full for next year
  19. I pay monthly with Justcar, can cancel whenever.
  20. Have win 7 x64 ultimate on everything now, tis much nicer. Abe: I have one of these for car pc http://store.mp3car.com/Lilliput_629GL_70N...n_p/mon-016.htm
  21. Sounds good, I looked on their site today but the download link is broken. Found a download else where though will give it a run tomorrow.
  22. Went from thrashed OEM to xtreme in my last car, NEVER AGAIN. Engagement always felt spongey, only dropped the clutch twice after that wheel spin attempts were fail, wouldn't snap shift, launches always sucked and the overall feel was terrible, ruined what used to be a good daily driver.
  23. Can't seem to fix the quote in that last post, entire passage of text is missing when I hit edit Basically you can take your alternate init string and on the connect screen of nissan data scan modify the init string the software uses when you try to connect to hicas system.
  24. 1996 I had a go with a program called hexterm but it wasn't very fun to use. Wouldn't hold my breath on that but it would be nice Luke managed to clear his error today via one of the processes on the forums, plugged in anyway and managed to connect to his airbag and read all ok. Found another ECU on my bus tonight, init FF FF E7 not sure what it is, could be a/c :S Does anyone have a decent term for manually sending commands? I've got 'Free Serial Port Monitor' which is useful for logging what other programs are talking over serial, still stumped getting anything out of HICAS.
  25. Mine came from japland with some sort of kakimoto sounds not bad and build quality looks alright, cept somewhere along the line it was taken off and beaten about giving it some faggy holes >
