Great Day out Guys, first time meeting you all, obviously alot of us a running a bit rich & need to fine tune our Rockets. I drove back through Nasho on the way home & a few bikers were freaking out at the Flames shooting out of the Zorst, oh well nothing like engaging the afterburners now & again....... Roy I've had a GTR with Stock internals and Bolt on upgrades producing over 300rwkw, so the RB26 Rods are up to the job, when searching for Big HP;tuning is extreamly important to the equation of reliability. Hell even RB25 Rods are up to the task,there are many RB25's producing in excess of 300rwkw with stock rods. My GTST is still going strong with many interstate trips and hard trackwork under its belt.

How many Sydney Skylines out there would be in the 300rkw club, I'm sure Munro wont have any problems with a 3L GTR pumping good HP. Ed if you want to compare driver skill and the size of your Kahunas, then I suggest Go-Kart racing (Rotax 125 series)..... same machine,only driver skill makes the difference. Duncan has a valid point about the stopwatch does'nt lie, we would all like to know who the Big players are so we can learn from their level of Mods. If a track day attracts this level of enthusiam then so be it..... Eastern Creek over Oran park any day! But until then lets play Ball at 8/10ths Ed! There are some Keen Skylines outhere Im sure.

Duncan, the driver is just as important as the Car....... this isnt about comparing Mines Bigger than yours, its about the way you use it! You may have a Big HP street car that runs fast 1/4 mile times, but if you haven't got the Balls to drive it 10/10ths whats the point. If you tell me youve got 350RWK on Elf racing Fuel and run 10's with slicks thats great...... Were talking daily drivers on Pump fuel turn key & head interstate without a concern.

Macquarie Pass is not for the faint hearted. If you boys like crusing, then a trip down to Berry stopping at the famous Berry pub, then continuing through Kangaroo valley. Stop at Famous Roberston pie shop for a piss & continuing down Macquarie Pass Back to lighthouse to shoot the shit & continue home through Nasho or Freeway!

Pawel have you considered, running your beast at Eastern Creek (Drags). This way you can market the true potential of your car without the tyre kickers. A friend ran his white R33 GTST 6 months ago - 11 Flat & was inundated with serious offers.
