  1. The press are tools. We'll see.
  2. You mean that thing Teulan nailed into the back of another car? Not a Nations cup car that I know of. It is a 33GTR that went off track and landed over a check bung bending the chassis. Still drivable but written off and bought back by the owner. Still sweating on some detail on prices.
  3. Good one mate. Was hoping to see the clamping effort too. Looking at the first pic.....Oh the butchery
  4. Major downturn in my condition over the last week. Been thinking I'll do the GB for you to take the pressure off. Slide you gonna do some more on the ute??
  5. Errr, you too mate?
  6. I just extended the thread on the Autobarn grade 8 bolts in a handy pack. Try Nissan or Repco or a specialist bolt place if you want them pre done.
  7. Put your homophobe tendencies away mate. A real man can wear pink and still look cool. Now when are you coming over to visit your crippled mate? I need to talk group buys.
  8. Ah Kel, where would we be without you....and your guy who is all too keen to drop you in it?? I'm contemplating a few purchases for either the 25t track car or a future track GTR. Fuel cell, hollinger box, race seats, cage, suspension, head etc. The list just goes on but hopefully I can pick up a broken fully prepped 33 race car that has been sitting around a while. Might save me 30K.......
  9. Amazing, about the same as doing these things to an RB25. Labour is a killer of course, but damn there is a premium loaded when you utter the phrase GTR.
  10. Been here before mate. Use some strong magnets and a 3m drill bit in a cordless. Centre punch the broken bolt heavily to ensure the dril centres well. Locate the magnets to pick up swarf and use some rags to cover the rest of the head. Drill it out slowly and use an ezyout to remove the bolt. Replace all the bolts as they are prone to this. Use torque of 9-12Nm.
  11. It was in the cheater GTR though. Pretty stock but 260rwkw due to boost and fuel reg. Pretty easy to do and not hard on the gear. I use 5500rpm and feed throttle while I slip the clutch. Was a real buzz.5.2 is good for rwd. I find the more power, the harder to stop wheelspin in the GTSt
  12. Also cuts 180 limit and does that over there <--------
  13. Andrew, it's ben covered recenly in NSW. Moanie and a few others tried it and it won't work. Sorry for the bad news mate. I don't know how Erin got by though.
  14. Maybe the could use a weapons engineer. Get some real cred for when car go boom
  15. Cheers Scott. I'm back to the surgeon on Thurs with new pictures. Hopefully I'll get some surgery soon. Problem is the cost will be over $10K and people in Defence feel it is coming out of ther pocket, so won't approve it.
  16. Enjoy the weekend guys. I'm just in too much pain and on too many drugs to drive safely.
  17. Seems a bit of a wierd one. Try disconnecting the O2 sensors as well
  18. oooh such a nagging wife.Dunc, you're in trouble mate. It's always fun until someone doesn't have enough to spend on shoes......
  19. Not bad prices though. I paid a little more than that for a slightly used set of TT's
  20. Some more brake stuff, just for info. http://www.precisionbrakescompany.com/why-...big-brakes.html
  21. Pics or Ban mate
  22. Initially I would have suggested the cat had broken up. I had one do it once and it blocked the rear part of the cat up. Buy six short plug leads, unscrew the coil packs and connect to the plugs using the leads. As it's running carefully unplug each one to isolate the crappy coil if one is bad. Try not to get zapped.
  23. I've heard of it twice but neither has been generous enough to post down in my research thread.
  24. That's because they are the same.
