  1. Clearly you aren't a high range speeder and clearly not endangering life, so here is a link that will help you to challenge the illegal use of radars and lasers and the inadequate laws as they stand. It will also help to drag out the cases long enough to not lose your license. http://www.aussiespeedingfines.com/index.php high range speeders are idiots
  2. Sold and thanks for the interest.
  3. Col. You get off your ass and go buy one from LMRE. As has been demonstrated this cannot be achieved by just web conversations. People actually have to turn up to show their support. I have absolute respect for LMRE conducting this effort in a considered, professional and social manner without resorting to hysterical propaganda and would appear to have left many bridges left unburnt. I also apologise for leaving but with a disability I was at the limit of my endurance no matter how much I wanted to stay and reminisce old adventures. Thanks for the opportunity.
  4. Abu, if you bought it for your R32 then it won't fit an r33. Check the thread in the end and see if it is 14mm (R32) or 16mm (R33). Plus they are different lengths. The R33 is 10mm longer. Hope that prevents any sales in error.
  5. Yep, this is your man. I used his gear. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...hp?showuser=220
  6. I'm setting one up using a Trial rear bumper for my race car. It is one piece and extends well under the car. As for these doing nothing, well, I'm glad now I wasted so many years on engineering and fluid dynamics........
  7. My pics on the bucket. http://photobucket.com/albums/a300/GTRgeoff/
  8. Perhaps the council members need to be campaigned against at the next election using this as a stick to beat them and drive them out of office.
  9. What an outstanding turnout. I'm gobsmacked but absolutely amazed by the amount of support. A really friendly day and I don't think it could happen elsewhere. I talked to heaps of enthusiasts, got around the track with Noel and Chris for a walk and relived some old times. Pine Rivers, time to stop holding out. Re-open the track dammit. What greater message do you need? I think there was more there than for the stupid Copper support march. Thanks for the efforts by the Lakeside Motor Racing Enthusiasts for their great efforts in raising the profile of the plight of our track.
  10. You sick sick bastard.......... Gallopingzelle with a 26/30 torquemonster FTW
  11. I see plenty of lookers but not many more coming alng......
  12. 9am you blind old fart. Make it 8:45 so we can get our paperwork in and have time for food and lies.
  13. You can get a specialist plastic welder to do the job to make it fit, but otherwise it's a job that will need the guards. Then you need wheels to fill the guards or it looks poxy. I have one I wanted on my GTS25t track car, but I'll keep it for the GTR instead.
  14. I've popped this on SAUQld as we are only getting a few of us so far.
  15. Sorry, no photos, but a GTR plenum is pretty much the same as any other.
  16. No problem with that at all. Unless there is a serious restriction on either intake path the action of the turbos will pretty much equalise intake, as well the afm signals are averaged in the PFC. That guard liner is about as secure as a leaf in a hurricane. Both mine on the track car ripped out at about 200kmh.
  17. Neil all RBs are the same at the back end for the bell housing, so the Auto won't be a problem. I was contemplating an auto GTR for my wife who is disabled as well. I'd ignore any advice not to modify a "spec" model in the 32/33 range as the differences are almost non existent, especially after much swapping of brakes and new suspension after years of punishment. I don't rate the 33 ALSD at all so try to avoid the V-spec models, a non V-spec is a better alternative. An N1 though is a worthy machine to own and deserves to be driven daily so fill your boots and put in the new diff ratios while you are at it. No help with the V35 but my thoughts are the ECUs would give dramas playing with the CVT-8 and there aren't enough parts available yet to play that game.
  18. I use that location for my air filter but there are problems. When it rains or the road is wet the spray can be taken up, and that sends the AFMs into error as the ECU thinks they are maxing out. The right thing to do then is box it correctly to remove the spray from the NSF tyre from the problem. I'm yet to examine the effects from following closely a car putting up serious spray. Also the location is very dirty due to the tyre proximity.
  19. Overdrill, retap and use helicoils to get the right thread, but better and stronger. There is a motor and gearbox on ebay in Warwick for $1
  20. Yep, he'll get a grilling. I recently saw a 20B rotor in an old holden at SelectMaz in Melbourne. Something interesting. Look forward to the invite.
  21. John, nothing in particular as far as the actual intended compression ratios. Build it for what you want to get from it. Easier to drive more average power and more responsive but less peak power go hi comp, dyno queen go low comp with peaky massive turbo Mark (Scooby) that should be decent, but my 26 made 260 on the stock computer. Go back for refund or more power. Good luck after run in. Steve the cams and I understand crank angle sensor are different but all else is the same. I see you are racing at the "Bank". Let us know next time you run and I'll round up the boys from the Switch to come watch and ponder just why anyone would be so silly with a 120
  22. Want to hitch a ride with me mate? We could even throw Shane in the back.
  23. I had no issues with Arias. Nice and quiet, did what they had to do. Decent CR so you don't have to substitute with boost so great off boost response and can stick to a smaller turbo. Works for me.
