  1. No-one can see my shiny stainless manifolds and dumps on the GTR either, but who cares? 320rwkw@14psi!! Mmmmmm tubular dude.
  2. Leave yours blue Andy. Nice to see the lag monster in pics on the forum at last
  3. I am greeeeaaaattt. You are Crrrrap!!
  4. pics from diving exHMAS Brisbane. Note roooooly big fishes......... http://s13.photobucket.com/albums/a300/GTR...k%20and%20Rick/
  5. Pics or ban old man.
  6. Ricer..........
  7. And I'll vouch for both of them. Even though they are Vic dwellers they are 100% trustworthy. Simon did you nab these? I may have to grab Jacks to keep ahead of the game......
  8. Absolutely mate but I can't tow the boat and have the good life in Brissy without a towbarge. Who'd race a friggin' local built land barge anyway unless the rules said you couldn't use anything with modern engineering? PS was that you I rudely called today? Sorry to see the uniquest GTS4 ever go on the market mate. Note it's a GTS25t and my Magna Sports loving mate is using it and cannot believe how good it is. Available after the end of this month so make an outrageous offer.
  9. I have a polished one with throttle bodies you can have for 350 plus shipping.
  10. Paid. Looking forward to the day.
  11. I guess morning as well so I can play catch with Bunta..........
  12. Hey Rod. Just saw you have gone to the dark side too. Nice mate, now just get rid of that gay Evo thing......
  13. I like it, but then I want one. I've never been a one car guy and will always get the right machine for the task I need it to fulfill. Big boats, scuba gear and race car trailer all need a decent tow mobile and the alternatives aren't all that enticing. Met a real cute chick here in the switch at a car wash with an AU XR6 ute with BA XR8 style glass hood. Escapee from Melbourne actually and seemed pretty normal. I guess anyone who'd rather live up here is on the more normal end of the scale though
  14. Paul, book me a spot and I'll be there. Time to get motivated. I just had a look at the RWD shootout day and it looks great.
  15. My apprentice is working elsewhere at the moment but will be coming over saturday to start doing some of the heavier work. Hoping I'll be ready for this one Paul.
  16. No I've been busy since moving into the new place but maybe later this week. The Falcon will stay pretty stock. If I want jollies that's what the GTR and racecar are for. Never try to make a silk purse from a sows ear. The ute is for towing a boat and racecar and work. That thing of yours just keeps getting better mate.
  17. Mark I don't really remember. I just asked him to tune it to start and run at 60, 80 and 100 so I could run it in. I'll be getting the bov and boost control sorted so I can have the tune redone soon. Should be interesting. Then it's time to throw it back at the track. BTW I'm on skype, geoff.williams89 if you feel the need to chat sometime.
  18. All the best mate. Hope you had a good one.
  19. Consider I bought a previously unopened RB30 bottom end. All stock. Then I got a near new RB26 head, still with stickers on the heads lower surface and had been in plastic for a while with almost no carbon in the combustion chamber. Built with H beam rods and 9:1 comp pistons, without receiving the boost it makes on the twins (basically kept atmo for run in) it makes 160rwkw. What do stock 25's make? Wait till this baby gets 18psi....... Lag? I don't think so! As with any question you might ask without giving enough detail. It depends. Put a V8 Mack truck turbo on and yes it will lag, but the right turbos for the application then it will be lethal.
  20. It's not so much the strength of the belt but the bolts in the idler and tensioner that cause more catastrophic failures. I know of a few belts that have torn apart due to foreign object damage, or old age, but there are many instances of the bolts or bearings failing, so the bolts need to be high tensile items. If there is too much load on the belt the bolts can also be the weak point.
  21. Great skills but those cars are specially built for that. twin brake pedals, only forward and reverse and really light. It would never keep up on a track. I guess I'm just not easily impressed. That mini is a hoot Duncan.
  22. I didn't bother looking at nismoparts as the name nismo usually implies uberexpensive. They clearly don't have much of a clue if they are selling the items as suiting different applications. RB are all the same. Plus, since you are OS it would help to put your location in the bit over on the left, so I don't waste time giving useless (to you) information. Cheers
  23. They are the same item. Call rolling bearings with the part number (do a search on the forum for them) and use the stock NSK bearings. $120 for the pair.
  24. That would be move it out a few mm. In makes it tighter and the 152 belt is the perfect tension with an idler low and the tensioner high.
  25. Deren get back to work on the car. Time for it to be driven mate. No better time than to bring it to the next SAUQld dinner....... BTW guys to keep up to date on what is happening in SAUQld drop into www.sauqld.com and check in on the events forum.
