  1. Last chance to say goodbye to me folks. Hope to see a few here.
  2. Latest update. Installed turbos from Slide on the GTR = 316rwkw @ 0.95bar with more to come. Will push for 360 later. still to get the 25t engine (the 26/30) and put it back together, nothing like pressure. Leaving next Friday....woohoo.
  3. Can't help on the fairies but my effort produced 316rwkw @ 0.95bar with more to come later. Worth every slice and busted knuckle. Hang in there buddy.
  4. Car still for sale and now in Brisbane.
  5. Yeah sorry mate. Would have been nice but I had an oil leak to find before todays dyno tune (316rwkw on 0.9bar with more to chase later). I still have an engine to collect and build, fit and tune by Weds next week. Feel free to drop me a line if you are ever coming to Brissy (although you won't want to come back) as I'd love to catch up. See you Sunday Kaz.
  6. Count me in dude. It will be my last before leaving next friday for Brisvegas.
  7. 2 days, turbos out and turbos in. hands look like a cat has clawed the fcuk out of them. Nissan have the laziest engineers on the planet given the complete load of bollocks that is the stock oil/water/boost supply to the turbos and wastegate actuators. I did the TT upgrade on the GTS25t without ever looking hard at the GTR setup and it is way better and has pretty braided lines and speedflow fittings. 500hp is worth it. Tuning tomorrow.
  8. That is some really great stuff Frank, thanks. I'm happy wit the 4 door as I'll still have the 26/30 powered 25t and the GTR.
  9. Is that a question or a statement?
  10. The CVT8 is actually the most expensive of the V35 series in the sedan, but due to the styling is not as popular. Sedans range from 2.5-3.8M Yen and the coupe 3.5-3.7M Yen. I'll be getting on for the wife until the V36 comes out in a CVT8 Coupe.
  11. "Geez I'd love a Passiona!" "You can set your watch by this F*CKIN rain!" One movie buffs
  12. Absolutely ridiculous response by VICPol. A disgrace to any uniform wearing professional. Graeme your thoughts are in line with my friends on the force and their attitude is it will just drive groups underground further until there will be further acts of outright defiance of the law. In fact I'm off to Qld where this is less of a problem but I will be working within the club up there to organise events in a military fashion with actions on rules for the arrival of uninvited police presence. Basically just bomburst out with a number of backup RVs to recollect at to continue our meetings, all events will be kept in a secure members only area of the forum or by direct invitation and a few other security procedures. Not because I dislike police (clearly since quite a few are mates across the country) but because there are too many tools in the TMU elements that feel the need to throw around some authority. The bottom line is there are unsafe cars, and then there are show type cars that are usually in excellent condition and the law simply does not reflect or have the ability to acknowledge such improvements in an intelligent way. Chase the smoke blowing rust buckets, not the well cared for cars.
  13. Hope those beers were good. I should have thought of that. I had a cat collapse once and it was doing similar, but seems fairly uncommon. Well done.
  14. Hi mate, I have one op in South Morang, near Epping. I'm just finishing off some repairs where it had cracks and they are completely reinforced. I was going to put it on my auto GTSt but you can have it for $200. It is black but can be quickly painted at the paint shop when done.
  15. Not that I know of. Rob just high flows the injectors you hand him. I guess the diff then is do you need 555cc or up to 700+cc. The prices then fall into line a bit better. Either way the prices are better than new retail so you can't go wrong.
  16. The guys you need here are Creatd Motorsport in Campbellfield. 03 93577663 Price comes close to the Deatschwerks price but they do them at over 700cc.
  17. I know of a workshop in Melbourne that highflows RB25 injectors. They actually have the parts so when they shave them the refit new caps to give the right feed rate, then the flow test them so you can balance the injector pulses. They do charge about 70 each including the parts needed, clean and flow test so not a bad option there either. Nice find though disco.
  18. Stock turbos Shane...well the housings anyway. See it says AR .42 so legal as Brad, good luck with that and be careful. Scooby, I don't have your number to return your call.
  19. Nothing else changed at the same time? this is a really troubling problem. How is the fuel pump pressure now? It's about the only other thing I can think of right now. Engine with the machinist this morning. Aust post suck for being so slow but all goodies now in place for extreme funness!!!!
  20. Not an all alloy lightweight Toyota 4L quad cam with 6 bolt mains and blah blah blah....... You can work out the rest. My plan is to have it on track for $10K, unlike the Bullet wankers that want 100K for the same thing but prettied up. Light, easier on rubber and cheap. I just had a thought too, Giants GTR did his run at Wakefield in the wet and if I remember correctly it was a low 1.06 right? Not bad on a tight track but at a real track, say Phillip Island where you need the gonads of a stud stallion to run a fast one I'd put the time gap at about 5-6 seconds Giants way to the turbo'd MX.
  21. Pics of the injector socket with a GTR/RB30 plug and also a GTR injector. The plugs don't fit mate but I bought the RB30 plugs from Bursons so they could help with something suitable. The injectors have the following numbers: 8E25 and 23250-42018
  22. Liar.....Zenons!!!!
  23. I'm an MX-5 lover, but yes, they are a hairdressers car unless driven by someone with a pair, as with any other car. Guess I'm lucky enough to actually have some driving experience and not just in love with the fact that someone else is posting results in what I'd dream to have. So my next project is an MX-5 with a V8 for track only, but I'll still have the GTR and the 25t with RB26/30 for days that it rains and I can't get to the salon for a blow wave........
  24. Sorry I was off for a couple of days in Brisbane. Ran 2 cars up and tried to buy a house but no joy. Anyway the head and RB25 intake are sold. Tristan and Simon you are welcome to the turbos if you want them separate, but not sure why as they are too small for any single application like an SR20 or CA18. First to pay takes them. Likewise Jesse. They are a straight boltup to any RB26 manifolds and dumps but they need the bolt on lines. Scott, I'll grab pics in a moment and check to see if RB20/26/30 plugs fit. I'll be at the meeting Tuesday and the cruise so we can catch up then if you want.
