Just a thought, but try running it without the O2 sensors plugged in for a while. Mine is supposed to eat them (OK 260rwkw on stock computer) and runs best without. Also could be a leak in an IC hose as it will sense air going through and fuel for it, but not be delivering the air.

In the other thread, which I'm sure you guys are watching, the primary causes are pointing at the short drive land (stress concentrator), the hardness (brittleness in engineering speak where a "softer" steel is considered tougher) of the N1 pump rings and bouncing off the rev limiter (impulse addition that brittle materials don't like). Have you got this done yet Deren?

Easy answer, the DBA engineering and metallurgy is crap. Don't buy their product while they persist with their novelty bs of k-paw and stupid slot design. They have had cracking and wear problems for years. Thermal management after lapping is important for homogeneous cooling and grain structure development, and for preventing pad material migrating through the disc causing localised material changes but won't make the buggers crack. RDA have not let me down and I'm considering buying a set for the GTR and flogging the DBA's it came with.

I only use them for parts, but being a manufacturer they will probably charge a fair bit for a service but shoulld be ok, and detailing well just get that done at a detailers.

Taso, I was also reluctant to accept that the ceramic ingests into the engine on a TT setup. A couple of my Engineering specialities are fluid/aerodynamics and impulse mechanics and first impressions led me to think it was just compressor contact but believe me it does happen. I have some extensive theories on this phenomenas' occurance but proof is always difficult to establish in the how department. That it happens is fact. I'm also a mechanic from days long past and I bring in well over $100K a year in my engineering, so I'd assess your mate as being a recent undergrad.
