  1. Al do a search mate seriously it's a drag style pfc that allows you to get rid of the afm(s) 3 types. Standard. Pro that gives launch control (0 kmh rev limit) and spark rev limiter. DJetro for the big power drag boys that wanna get rid of afm's.
  2. Sorry mate, they are not steel wheels but ceramic. The N1's are inconel which is about the best stuff to have but the poor old 34 stockers will still fly apart without reason. I put a set into my R33 GTS25t and the front one let go at 5 psi causing loss of compression in 1,2,3. They had previously been running fine in a mates car so no particular reason for the failure. 14psi limit but no guarantee on longevity so whatever that will do for you. Steel often have a small lip at the trailing edge of the turbine. Ceramic looks like it's bead blasted and smooth edges.
  3. David no worries, sometime between 9:30 and 10 again?? Geoff
  4. try 0.8mm mate. Have a good holiday.
  5. Sounds like a good time will be had by all but I don't recommend VHT at all after using it a couple of different applications, both baked on and left to dry normally. Even using clear coat it ended up looking crap. try the Holts though featured here http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...ST&f=57&t=73794 and here http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...pic=87855&st=80
  6. No worries Michael. It's often overlooked and a lot ofmoney to spend for a backwards step. For me, the extra pedal travel upsets smooth heel/toe braking on top of the pinchy rears.
  7. First we click the search button..... You need larger rotors. The internal piston volume is larger so the master cylinder will not provide the right balance and the pedal will move further for the same braking response. This makes it possible to lock the rears easily resulting in catastrophic braking imbalance. OK if you have ABS but the cars I have driven with the mod with and without ABS felt doughy and aweful in the brake pedal. My GTSt has stock brakes with slots in the fronts and good pads and feel sensational, even compared with my GTR33. Balance is important so you would do well to do the master and all four corners at the same time. A cheaper option would be larger rotors and a spacer plate at the front for more disc and greater swept area while maintaining balance
  8. The only way to know is try with and without through the same series of corners. It does make a difference on the front as it makes it a little more responsive to wheel inputs. there are also a number of other mods that can do this so consider it part of an overall system improvement.
  9. Cheers mate, meant to respond yesterday but I'll look you up after Xmas if that's ok. I'm in no hurry but definitely want it.
  10. I have a number of police as personal friends across the country so in general I hold them in the highest regard but it is true some get out of control. Johnny this has been covered many times before, but mostly in isolation from state to state. Cazz is a good resource and is almost always involved in these discussions as well. My recommendations for dealing with an officer is to first be polite, even friendly and guage their attitude. If they start ranting or carrying on with BS then you have the right to request the conversation be recorded. This often results in their attitude settling, they go get the recorder or they get in their car and drive off. I have used this a number of times when dealing with idiots on a collision course with an ethics tribunal. It also helps to be able to display an ID that makes them think twice about fronting in court to question your integrity. Unless you are an armed and known dangerous criminal there is no reason at all for them to act in any other way than polite. Likewise, they have a job to do so if you have been a dickhead, just wear it on the chops, be nice and say thankyou. Johnny you may want to get involved and contribute to www.roadsense.com Geoff
