hey guys and girls my recently installed a r32 rb20det in my s13... but my aftermarket tacho wont work just stays on 3 grand.. i am using pin 7 on the ecu and going strait to the tacho.. i check to make sure i it on 6 cylinder and not 4.. but all i get is the needle sitting on 3 grand... am i using the pin.. why wont it work.. could it be not strong enough signal.... all help would be awsome cheers roger

will do a clean swap for one of the ecu's... for either a rb20det starter motor and coil pack harnees and afm and down pipe (the one that goes from the dump the the cat) (those 4 things for 1 ecu.neg).. or a rb20det front mount pipeing this stuff badlt and dont have the coin.. cheers roger

ok sounds good.. and also while i am hear.. when ur getting rid of hicas in the power steering pump.. i have been to pull out the veins and plug up the hole.. the veins are the little retanglle thingys that are on the wheel thingy... correct? cheers roger thanks for the help guys

hey guys and girls.. first off sorry if this in the wrong section.. i have done a bit of searching and came up with nothing.. it prob seems like a stupid question... i want to no if a r33 rb25det afm will on a r32 rb20det engine and harness.. the reason is i have a rb25 one but have a rb20 engine.. cheers roger

hey mate tahnks for that.. when u say just use washe on the rear? does that mean i dont use the front holes one either side... wont it make the boonet sit funny.. tahnks for the help cheers roger

hey guys and girls first off sorry if this in the wrong section i have done a rb conversion in my s13.. and it hits the bonnet... i have been told to use bonnet spacers.. what are they... they go in between the bonnet and the hinges dont they ?.. could i just use washers?..and are they leagle or is there anotther way i can do it.. (aka diffrent engine mounts... cut the ribbing in the bonnet) i posted on niss silv and got reemed.. any helpfull help would perfect thanks.. cheers roger

hello guys and gals.. i have a question. hear how it goes.. i purchased 2 rb20det.. they both are silver tops.. (both have eccs on the manifold..) i got 2 harness with them but one computer... the computer is a mines...but it only fits one of the harnesses.. but the mines? harness wont go on either motor... ( i think it may be a red top) and the other harness goes ont both motors.. so my question is is there anyway i can change the harness to suit a silver top..????(maybe mod the silver harness and red to make ????) sorry for the spelling mistakes cheers roger
