  1. I've got a spare one. PM sent.
  2. Now $190 incl postage within Australia.
  3. Yeah I'll try and make the next one champ. Just being a lazy mofo at the moment..
  4. Keep the 'politics' (arguments, discussion, questions of interest, whatever you'd like to call it) off this forum guys. Please! Vijay
  5. Just as a point of interest, in early 2005 MOTOR magazine dynoed both those cars when they were questioning manfacturer quoted specs. FPV GT BA (290kw) 242.0kw HSV GTO VZ (297kw) 227.2kw
  6. Ahh, there you go then. I stand corrected
  7. Richo they do come in various sizes, different flange diameters, and overall length / widths. My old R33 came with one that bolted up to the AFM, but another mate bought one which came with an Apexi adaptor to fit between AFM and pod. Anyway according to the parts listing for the RB25XX Stagea: - part number 507-N006 - replacement filter 500-A022
  8. Have you checked the ATTESA (4WD) computer for errors? On the R32 it's under the rear parcel shelf, switch on the ignition and have someone look for the LED on the ATTESA ECU for flashing lights. Look at the following thread for the codes: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=146358 ..and this thread shows you how to read the codes, and a flowchart for some steps: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=146764
  9. Good work! So long as it's fixed, I guess.
  10. Nah this sounds exactly what happened to me a while back. Keys would lock doors fine but when I used the remote sometimes it did, sometimes it didn't. Replaced motor and all was well. The central locking motor I'm talking looks like the pictured below. (just make sure you get the one with the correct number of wires, they usually come in 2/5 wire versions).
  11. Pull the trim off and check if when you arm the car that the door locking motor is working. If not, pull it out (takes about 30 sec to do), get a replacement from any car audio / security shop and replace.
  12. Hi all, It's been out for a few months now, just wanted to see if anyone has tried out the new model EVC, got any good results from it? It's either this or the Blitz Spec-R for me, obviously the Blitz has some great results but I'm interested in hearing any thoughts about the HKS one. Cheers!
  13. If the car is already here, then establishing registration is a state issue. Need to speak to DOT. DOTARS may be able to provide copies of the import paperwork, or at least have some records as to what scheme it was imported under.
  14. Easiest way is to cut out a baffle our of something like MDF, plastic, etc and screw it into the left and right 'sides' (they are wide enough to put a screw through, in an R33 at least).
  15. I haven't had a problem using it at multiple (~6) KFC restaurants in Syd, also used in Canberra with great success.. I got them from the Colonel...
  16. It's been a slow day at work :sorcerer:
  17. There's one at the bottom right of the page.
  18. Ok got a good one. Seems to be related to mod permissions... When you go into a subforum (eg FI) there's a "search forum" option at the bottom left of the screen. As far as I'm aware that used to restrict queries to that particular forum. I've just tried to use it and it shows results from within that forum, but also the forums for which I'm assigned mod status.. e.g. I'll go into NSW and look up "mongoose," and results come from NSW, Importing, and Car Audio. Tried it in a number of forums and the same thing is happening.
  19. Yep. Sorta similar to what I said above, but basically: - new terminals go on battery posts - long bolt through terminals - old terminals connect to other side of bolt - secure with a nut Might still want to bend the old terminals to ensure that it won't come off easily.
  20. What sorta power is the car making?
  21. Sound systems (either stock or aftermarket, there is no distinction) are covered under a different regulation.
  22. I've never liked the way that GFB marketed their product. A BOV that could vent additional emissions to the atmosphere (ie compared the standard BOV) is a Neddy No-No under one of the EPA regulations which it administers. Their ad fails to address that.
