  1. How about a Dynamat product? http://www.dynamat.com/products_intro.html Mainly used around here for sound deadening but their other products (Extremeliner, Dynaliner) do heat insulation. Justin if you're interested ring Marty Price (FHRX) - I'm sure he can tell you all about it, and is a Dynamat retailer...
  2. As long as alarm is disarmed, and you use the key to turn off the siren in engine bay, then you can disconnect negative and the alarm will not go. Remember to turn it back on once you're done.

  4. Yep I'd give Advan a call, speak to the owner (Peter) if need be, just explain it to him and see what he has to say.

  6. Best to contact Prank (Christian) to get permission and the images
  7. Nah slightly different circumstances in QLD, as per the link I posted above... In QLD, for a SEVS vehicle, ADR equivalents may be accepted as per the RAWS online guide. In QLD, for a 15 year import, it must say it complies with ADRS, or have a letter of compliance from vehicle/seat belt manufacturer stating part numbers. In QLD, for a personal import, ADR equivalents as per the RAWS online guide can be accepted.
  8. Still available. New pics added to first post.
  9. Yeh seat belts are another issue in QLD. I'm guessing it was a 15 year import, in which case you'll need belts which state on them that they comply with ADRs. For further reference for anyone in QLD, here's the DOT link to the requirements for all imports: http://www.transport.qld.gov.au/resources/...ed_Vehicles.pdf
  10. FYI, Fabrication subforum is now active http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...p?showforum=163
  11. As said, LO1 is a plate to confirm compliance with ADRs. The equivalent in NSW would be a Engineers Certificate. For registering an import in NSW: http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/registration/rego_new.html Vicroads: - Imported Vehicle Registration http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/Home/Regist...egistration.htm - Interstate Vehicle Registration http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/Home/Regist...egistration.htm

  16. Out of interest, what were the cheaper options he mentioned?
  17. Get in contact with some RAWS that you would use to comply your Stag and ask if they would accept a manual conversion. Opinion will vary from shop to shop.
  18. Give Matt (aka Hitman) a call. I think he helped Mona sort out an emissions test last time. Are you going for a test just to check, or is it for engineering cert / EPA?
  19. http://www.alpine.com.au - download the owners manual.
  20. Z32 doesnt max out at 250. It will be fine for 270
  21. Another vote for Hitman in Penrith. He does excellent work. I am sure a lot of places would be willing to price match. Give Hitman a call can't do any harm.
