  1. Here are the state requirements.. NSW: http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/registration/dow.../vsi40_rev1.pdf VIC: http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/NR/rdonlyre...A48/0/VSI18.pdf WA: http://www.dpi.wa.gov.au/mediaFiles/IB-106A.pdf etc, etc google "left hand drive" + the name of your state licensing authority.
  2. Like I said in the other thread Personal Imports are subject to state rego requirements. e.g. In NSW you may be able to register a LHD vehicle under 4.5 tonnes GVM if: - it's more than 30 years old - or it's not required under law to be RHD So something like a Mitsubishi Eclipse (if you chose to waste the Personal Import scheme on a car like that ), would need a RHD conversion in NSW.
  3. Before you buy coils etc and other things.., try another AFM. I know you have cleaned but trust me it could still the AFM. It sounds exactly like the problems I had when my AFM was farked. After i cleaned the AFM it would be good for a bit then would mess up again. Another second hand AFM fixed it right up.
  4. Agreed. Dose has to be the gayest word I have heard. This thread wins for the award for the Gayest Thread so far this year. And if you want flutter its simple block your BOV.
  5. Adam, a personal import is subject to state registration requirements, that's about it.
  6. Previous manifold and and compressor cover were done by GCG...no idea on price as it was done by previous owner. Now have a manifold for a V6 being done by Competition Coatings in Guildford picking up end of the week. About $250.
  7. Some headunits don't have a power antenna function, if yours is one of these then it will stay up like you described.

  11. how does the pfc pro launch control fit into all this... would it build boost in neutral? or does it purely allow you to have constant rpm launches?
  12. r32 gtst front seats with rails weigh approx 16.8 kgs each personally i feel traction is way better in my bro's r33 gtr as opposed to my r32 gtst
  13. so it sounds like the go would be to mod the injectors then get them flow tested to see if there is any major difference between individual injectors... how much does flow testing cost approx?
  14. Mounted mine vertical so it's looks parallel to the fuse box in the back.
  15. Are you with just cars? If so I had similar problems. Took them around 6 weeks to do it. They only finally got something done becuase I rang up and spoke to a manager and said that I would be going to the ombudsman if it wasn't assesed within a week. They also paid a week later. The assesor kept on making excuses and assing around. So definitely worth trying.
  16. Hi all... I have a genuine HPI Engine Damper is for sale. It was a xmas pressie that I have to sell because unfortunately it doesn't fit in my engine bay with some of the extra hoses and stuff I have around. To suit a R33/R34 GTR - part number is the same for both, as per the HPI website: http://www.hpi.co.jp/eng/hpi.co.jp.maxengdampers.html Brand new, only the large bracket bolting around the strut tower has made it on the car for test fitting, all other parts have not been fitted to car. Comes with all parts and original fitting instructions, genuine box too. Cost: $190 incl postage within Australia. As per below, pictures available on request.

  19. Are you using the 'pre-94' harness wiring from that PDF? I have followe that for my brother's 1989 R32 GTST (amped setup) and it all matched up. Haven't had any complaints re: the wiring guide so I guess double check your connections again.
