  1. i would definitely try another afm not just cleaning it and see if it works... my car would work intermittently with the afm being cleaned but as soon as a swapper over a second hand afm there was no problems is your pod filter one that requires oiling?
  2. I'm guessing it's this device they are mentioning http://www.mongoose.com.au/new-releases/mtp.php Looks like you just need to top up the SIM when needed.
  3. I was previously using the fconv but am now using a power fc pro... to me the flexibility of being able to choose my tuner is a big advantage... i personally did not have a good experience with bd4s and would not go there again... although im sure other people are more than happy with thier service... additional costs with the fcon are getting it wired in which has to be factored in as well just some thoughts
  4. Nice designer Burberry case there Pete lol
  5. Call RACV to get them out for you.
  6. Depends on the immobiliser / alarm. Usually have an override function but they generally involve keys. Pretty silly not to have any spares though. PM Sent.
  7. New motor requires a blueslip inspection to verify the engine number. To make sure conversion is legal consult an RTA-certified engineering signatory before starting the work. List is available here: http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/registration/dow...s/vsi/vsi15.pdf

  12. From the manual (http://pdf.crse.com/manuals/3251114211.pdf 4mb) here, it says that 'FAILURE" means that 'the connection of speakers / amplifiers is incorrect.' Did you change the wiring when doing the neons? How about the grounding for the neons, is it to a clean spot secure to the chassis? Is the neon power wires anywhere near the amp wiring? Try moving it away...
  13. - What model headunit? - Is the buzzing noise coming from your speakers? - Were the failure / buzzing happening BEFORE the neons were wired in? - Did you get either professionally installed?
  14. The Imports forum is for regulations surrounding the importation process. A query like this is based on state regulations and should be posted in your state's subforum. In response to your question - you need to contact your state's transport authority or an approved automotive engineer.
  15. As everyone else has said - this has SCAM written all over it. Closed.
  16. What state are you in mate? I'll move it across to the relevant section.
  17. Very nice. Do you have any pictures of the deadening in the doors? I'm sure a lot of people would be interested.
  18. Guys if you want to talk details with Chris, PM / email / call him. Otherwise please keep the thread to discussion about the MFD
