  1. All is well. Fixed it up now. Was the launch control. Thanks beer baron and bog. just in case anyone else needs help with adjusting it... checkout http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=101353
  2. Hey just some more information... its a really weird problem.... What is happening is when the rear wheels are turning the car is operating fine and it will rev in neutral. such as like after putting it in gear on the dyno then letting it slow down(rear wheels still turning) it will rev okay... As soon as the rear wheels stop however it won't rev in neutral Is it possible that this has something to do with launch control on the pfc pro? *EDIT He thinks it may be he launch control on the PRO as it only happens when the wheels are not moving. Does anyone know how to access this through the hand controller as he says he cant find the option in there. He has tuned plenty of normal PFC's but none with the pro.
  3. Hey I am currently getting my R32 tuned and currently running into some problems tuning. Its a GTST rb20det. Running bigger injectors fuel pump turbo etc with a manual RB25 box and Power FC Pro. Car will run fine in gear but won't rev while it's in neutral. PFC settings have been checked and appear to be fine. Any one have any ideas why it would be running fine in gear but not in neutral?

  5. Sorry to hear. Maybe call servos in your area to keep an eye out?
  6. I think the benefits are largely inconclusive for regular street driven cars, nothing that regular maintenance and checking with compressed air can't prevent. Compressed air is about 80% nitrogen anyway. http://www.toyo.com.au/tech_info11.html http://www.bridgestone.com.au/tyres/produc...re/nitrogen.asp http://www.racq.com.au/cps/rde/xchg/racq_c...es_ENA_HTML.htm
  7. Well check if it's complied and registered that's about it. If it's kosher the owner of the car is free to change tyres as they please. There's no requirement to keep the new tyres on once it's gone through that process.
  8. Not necessarily. Depends who's selling the car and at what stage through compliance it's at. If it's already been through compliance successfully, they may have just replaced them with second hand/worn/etc ones. Nothing to legislate what happens to a vehicle post-compliance.
  9. In that case however, only an extremely small number of customers ended up receiving their hard drives for the lower price ($8.80 for 250gig). Dell ended up cancelling orders and refunding pretty much everyone. That Fair Trading comment was based on a report from an Age journalist, a lot of misinformation also because consumer protection laws vary from state to state.
  10. Nope, under SEVS new tyres are required for all except the spare tyre.

  12. If you're going with NRMA, don't get the standard check. Get the specialised one for peformance vehicles. Note that they don't do compression tests. Can recommend Sydney Vehicle Pre Purchase Inspections 9661 1055 // 0414 914 626. They cater for modified / imports.
  13. That picture isn't a GPvR FTO Supra has smaller rear seats and less boot space compared to FTO.
  14. Is that the 9-ways roundabout? If it is that's like acco city..one of the biggest blackspots in Sydney. Gotta watch out there because so many ppl have no idea what they're doing! In any case, accident avoided and your car lives to fight another day so it's all good
  15. See this post from earlier in the thread..
  16. Part number for the kit for your car, HCR32, (with the mounting brackets) is 507-N002. Part number for the filter alone: 500-A022
  17. Never hurts to initiate contact early, so you're not left trying to rush around to obtain any further documentation once the ship docks. You can probably provide them with all the info now, including the shipping details and they should be right to handle the rest.

  19. Trust website- has a pic but no specs http://www.trust-power.com/02greddy/turbine.html Another Trust link (part of the kit) says it comes in a variety of housing sizes http://www.trust-power.com/02greddy/turbo_kit.html

  22. Before anyone goes further, please provide a bit more info: - Where you are - What brand turbo timer you have - How much you are looking to spend - Are you looking just for an alarm, or immobiliser too? If you have insurance, what are the minimum requirements? I daresay a lot of packages will meet your requirement. Just remember an alarm / immobiliser is only as good as the person who installed it.
  23. That's the first I've heard of that.. well there was a GTS25t type G, but that was a sedan. All the model info on the net and on SAU doesn't seem to indicate otherwise for the GTS25t. LSDs are standard in the Spec 2s. Some have the 'Active-LSD' which is similar to the diff from V-Spec GTRs, you can tell if it's one of them because the dash cluster will also have two lights for 'slip' and 'traction control' (something like that anyway). Rear wipers are optional on any model Skyline.
  24. Search words: +speed +limiter 60 Days and OLDER Shitloads of results. FYI: Cutting wire 53 (green / yellow trace) off the ECU will do it. Alternative is to buy something like a Power FC/S-AFC, etc which automatically removes the speed cut.
