Are There Any Decent 8" Subs
raz0r$harP.UK replied to s13_Skyline_inside's topic in Car Audio & Electrical
Also the 8" Exact8 from Vibe. -
Bad channel on the amp? Try switching the channels on the amp to see if the problem repeats itself on the other speaker. Could also be wiring, but my guess is amp is the issue.

Cd Player And Boost Controller Set Up

There are plenty of similar threads for mounting EBCs / Gauges / etc so I'm gonna close it. Check out the ones below and search this &/or other forums for more ideas - a keyword search for "mount" in the title is a good start. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Bo...ng-t180323.html http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Mo...fc-t134148.html http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Mo...33-t108185.html -
That's a way bigger hit than I imagined Luke! I reckon you should be able to come off better than $3.5k with the wreck - series II interior, P1 rims, sunroof, etc. But like Nightcrawler said, it's just a matter of waiting out the time before the parts are sold. I still have the stock exhaust from it lying in my garage! Just hope you can sort out the insurance easily. I'll drop you a PM back soon...

Abflug R33 Gtr V-spec
raz0r$harP.UK replied to raz0r$harP.UK's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
Thanks Paul! Okay I've dropped the price to $33k, as I'm keen for a quick sale... At this price I hope prospective buyers realise the value you're getting - an extremely well sorted GTR, good looking car which turns heads and goes like a rocket Please note as per the original post, if not sold by the end of November I'll most likely be taking the car off the market... -

f*k.. sorry that was a typo. Car only has 58,XXXkm, not 68,XXX. Ad fixed.. I have proof of km travelled in Australia which I'm happy to show to any prospective buyer. -
Abflug R33 Gtr V-spec
raz0r$harP.UK replied to raz0r$harP.UK's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
Bump...if you're interested make an offer, I'll consider all reasonable ones. Yeah the car was on the cover of HPI a few years ago. -
Rough cost for a 20ft container to fit a single car is about $2,500. Not sure about the costs of a 40ft container, but there's an increased risk of damage to the cars if they shift in the container during freight (not sure how common it is but I've seen it happen). Check out other threads in this section for costs. The costs can vary depending on the car and what scheme you are importing them under.

Abflug R33 Gtr V-spec
raz0r$harP.UK replied to raz0r$harP.UK's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
Pictures If anyone wants a particular shot let me know. BTW number plates will be changed with standard ones prior to sale. Tuning results from Hitman and comparison with old tune (not by Hitman) -
Make: R33 GTR V-Spec (Abflug ex-demo car) Build date: March 1995 Mileage: 58,XXXkm Colour: Silver Location: Western Sydney Currently registered? (NSW) rego current to October 2009 Price: SOLD... NO TRADES Contact: PM, or phone 0403 178 303 This is a genuine ex-demo car from Abflug Japan, I'm the second owner in Australia. It's travelled less than 8000km since being imported in 2004 and accident free. It's a monster, having run 11.24 on street tyres on the previous tune (full retune in September 2007, and it has been given plenty more low-mid range power, so potentially it could run quicker). As per the list below, you can see it's an extremely special GTR. This car was previously featured in HPI magazine, where it was the cover car. The mod list is extensive and includes: - N1 motor - T88-34D (serviced @ 52,000km by GCG, has HPC coated turbine housing, and a polished compressor cover and heatshield) - Apexi Power FC Pro ECU with Hand Controller - Greddy Profec-B Spec II EBC (set to 18 and 25psi) - HKS cams - OS Giken cam gears - 2x Z32 AFMs - 2x Apexi pod filters - ARC intercooler - Custom surge tank with 2x Bosch 044 external pumps - Earls Speed-Flex teflon-lined braided hose and fittings on fuel inlet lines (fume resistant) - Sard 700cc injectors - Nismo fuel reg - Tomei dual-entry fuel rail - 4" custom stainless exhaust from the turbo back - Standard GTR box (5th gear tends to pop out on cruise, but it's still drivable) - Jim Berry clutch - OS Giken front and rear diffs Tuning - Full retune by Hitman in August / September 2007 - 353kw @ 18psi, 395kw @ 24psi on 98 RON pump fuel. - Compared to against previous tune (which saw an 11.24sec quarter-mile pass on street tyres), there is a more power down low, with the gains purely from better tuning. Lot smoother up top too. Exterior - Excellent condition. - Genuine Abflug bodykit: front bar, side skirts, rear bar and wing - Tinted windows - PIAA fog lights Interior - Full interior trim (incl GTR floor mats, standard seats) all in excellent condition - Willans Super Sport 4x4 harness on the drivers side, retains standard seat belt - Triple cluster and white Nismo 320km dash have white LEDs (from the 666DAN group buy) - Momo steering wheel Gauges - Autometer Phantom 5" Tacho on the centre of the dash with shift light - 6x60mm gauges set into the dash above the glovebox. The Greddy 'Warning' meters are all electrical and have adjustable max/min points with recall: GReddy Warning Oil Pressure GReddy Warning Oil Temp GReddy Warning Water Temp GReddy Warning Exhaust Temp GReddy Warning Boost Pressure Greddy Oil Pressure (actually teed into the fuel line to check pressure) - 2x60mm gauges set in a CF panel in glovebox: SARD Exhaust pressure SARD Fuel pressure Audio - Alpine 6.5" speakers ('6233' front and SPS-170A rear) - Alpine CDA-9856i headunit - Alpine MRP-F250 4ch amplifier installed in the boot, custom install by FHRX - Streetwires 4ga wiring used throughout and Stinger Hyper RCA cables Wheels / Suspension -18x9.5 Abflug wheels (black with silver polished lip) - Kumho 265/35R18 KU31 tyres (plenty of tread, >70% left) - aftermarket height adjustable coilovers Other - Insurance-approved security system installed by licensed professional (with documentation) - Always serviced with Mobil 1 0W-40 Since I bought it, the main things I had done to it were: - Fitted a Jim Berry clutch - Remove and replace fuel pumps, surge tank, and fuel lines (by Advan Performance) - Installed headunit, amp and cleaned up the front of car gauge wiring (FHRX) - Tinted windows - Replaced manual boost controller with EBC (fitted by Hitman at time of tuning) - RB20 AFMs replaced with Z32s, intake piping swapped, and Apexi pods added (at tuning) I've got all the boxes, manuals etc for all the parts I fitted.

Saw OSH33N on Parra Rd this morning, and a maroon R32 coming out of Tempe Tyres not long after... -
I looked up the AC Delco catalogue for a suitable battery within the size and terminal post requirements I was looking for. There are plenty of other brands available but a Delco was fine for my requirements at the time and cheap. Looking at the catalogue, I ended up with a S55B24L (page 68 of the catalogue). 430CCA and had the same terminal size and location as the Jap batteries. Cost me $90, and no alteration to the terminals required.

Yep. Check your local car audio parts store (eg Autobarn, etc) for a Aerpro loom or equivalent. Chris Rogers (I see him reading the thread now ) might be able to help you out also...

No need to bump anything it was at the top of the forum...just hang on. Alternatively check out something like the MEA (Mobile Electronics Australia) forums who are more likely to be able to give you an answer.

Parts still needed.

Hi I require the following parts for an R32. They are interior parts so GTST or GTR is fine. Rear view mirror Spare tyre bolt 2 bolts to bolt in glovebox - will consider buying a glovebox if they come with the bolts Trim piece which goes around ignition Clips for side steps ( bit with skyline written on it) Interior parts should be in good condition with no major blemishes and definitely no breaks. I prefer someone around the Penrith area and am keen to pickup the parts this weekend or asap. No ridiculous offers. PM ME if you have any of the parts. Cheers
