  1. Dude it was out like this time... ..this time last year //edit:.. and it's already out on DVD here.
  2. Fitting gauges = DIY / Tutorial section. If you wanna make guides for the others, take pictures, post a thread and I'll make sure they are stickied for the world to see..
  3. Sorry. That was a typo. Gap is actually 0.8mm, and what most people run. See the 'Spark Plugs' thread. Most people run the 6 heat range plugs.
  4. Oo nice! Looks like one of the limited edition midnight purples that are on the R34s.. if it is, which one is it?
  5. Richard you got anything on the 33s?
  6. Call them up again. Usually pretty good. I spoke to them last time and they gave me an extension to pay and noted that I called them.
  7. Looked in the yellow pages for motor trimmers?
  8. Sometime I prefer to read the long-ish threads in this view as it's slightly easier on the eyes. But IPB seems to have only one page with a static length. If the thread is longer than this then you miss out on the remaining posts in the thread I know with VBB the print view was paged and contained all the posts. You could also show an extended number of posts per page. Is there any functionality on IPB to do a similar thing?
  9. ..and that's why I was asking what sort of headunit he had.
  10. As per the FAQ 6.5" speakers should fit front and back. Depending on the depth of the speaker you may need a spacer. Antenna plug is usually required, but not always. They are about $15 and readily available from most audio / auto stores.
  11. If this continues into another 'broker or not' thread I will close and warn people. The poster is asking for opinions from ppl who've used J-Spec and Imports101.
  12. Is it the factory one, or an aftermarket headunit?
  13. 1) Yes you can. In NSW you can also contest a fine by writing to the Infringement Processing Bureau, rather that completing the court action request. 2) No. You'll get a reminder once the initial deadline has expired.
  14. That's not correct. You need a 'band/frequency expander' to be able to pick up Australian frequencies, which will plug in between your headunit and antenna. All it basically does is shift the frequency so you will be able to pick up most of the stations. They're not much more than $30 - available from any car shop (Repco, Autobarn, etc), or PM Chris Rogers on the forums, he sells them too.
  15. A Mines ECU isn't of much use to you, as they can only be tuned by Mines, so you basically have a read-only ECU that's been tuned for unknown mods with higher octane (usually 100RON or so) fuel. They usually sell for fairly cheap on the forums for this reason. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...showtopic=94742
  16. Gearbox in RB25 are the same strength as the RB26 gearboxes.
  17. You interested in one? I'm selling mine - $22,500. For what's included I think it's a fair price. I'm only three hours out of Canberra if you're interested

  19. Isn't that where everyone hits for? Unless the boat is out on the lake then it's open season on that boat ..
  20. Mark - cruise sounds good. You have any dates in mind? Still reckon we should head down to Panthers one day for some KK and Aquagolf too...
  21. When it comes to something like a turbo import, you'll find very few (if any) companies will cover unlisted drivers. Just comes with the territory. Add to that Sydney insurance prices are probably amongst the most expensive in Australia. $3k-4k is about ballpark for a Skyline if you don't have an insurance rating. If you think $3k is too much you're not going to find any cheaper or loopholes. You'll either have to fork it out, or just get third party and hope you don't have an at-fault acco.
  22. Yeah Blaxland would be sweet for the tool library I'm from Glenbrook - think I've seen those plates around..
