  1. hey man good luck my car got broken into they tried hotwiring it... lucky i saw out my work window ..... lot of damage n stuff gone but they stupid f*(ks came back cops arrested and charged them which was good... nothins worse than having your car stolen....
  2. Not really. You can buy a band/fm expander for around $25 that will allow you to pick up most of the Australian stations. Pretty easy to install and it's a cheap alternative if you don't want to shell out for a headunit at the moment.
  3. Will get onto it eventually.. still waiting for the administrators to rename the forum for me.. grandmasterb - you can do an advanced search and specify what forums to search, or once you are in a forum there is an option to search that forum only.
  4. Forget whether they are Chiese or not, but they sound like the cheap T3/T4 turbos commonly sold at places such as EBay. I do believe that these turbos need some modification to the dump pipe to fit as the flanges are different (6 vs 5 bolt). The A/Rs also don't seem to be very efficient. Have a search around on the forums but you'll find a similar opinions on these turbos - usually do not perform as well as as advertised.
  5. Don't think it had much beyond extra badging (on the seats and outer B-pillar). Late 97-98?
  6. if you are worried about noise get a trust power extreme very good price ie i think it was 8-900ish cat back... and these are quiet as
  7. Anyone know if it's the same situation for an R33? My brother has the GTR bonnet on his 32 GTST and the weight difference between the two is phenomenal.. btw he has a grill cable tied in the space..
  8. hey well my door handles got f*(ked up... drivers doesnt work what i want to know is r32 gtst and gtr doors interchangeable. also how much should i expect to pay for door handles or for a complete door on a r32 gtst more info the better so post away thanks
  9. want door handles for r32 gtst any colour no bends paint condition ie chipped or anything is unimportant b pilllars trims and trims below b pillars at the rear boot carpet and plastics prefer in syd but any location pm me thanks
  10. We have a 2 door R32 with power windows. Fitted some 6.5" components with a mounting depth of 54.3mm.
  11. Interesting Pred. My bro used nearly identically shaped pods, but we could only fit the door trim back on with 6mm MDF. Any larger and it was rubbing against them.. Grandmasterb created a thread in CAA, which may be of some assistance? http://www.caraudioaustralia.com/forums/sh...ad.php?p=500824
  12. What's required seems to differ from engineer to engineer from talking to them. When I wanted to get my pod done, one told me it was ok, another told me it would be fine so long as it had a serial number on it (??). Anyway in the process of looking for one too, as I think the money outlaid would be better than fines for a defect - plus I'm sure it would make my insurance company happier if all the mods are registered with the RTA..
  13. Reminds me of a workshop in Sydney I recently visited..where I was told that margins in the car business are too tight to pay someone to sit and answer phones/email all day.
  14. im not sure if they sell type rs kits but one im getting through the GB requires a flange
  15. http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/registration/dow...s/vsi/vsi15.pdf List of RTA approved engineering signatories in NSW. The scheme is currently being replaced (with the Vehicle Compliance Certification Scheme), but at the moment the list is still current. Look to get an engineering certificate for around $450, depending on what needs to be done. Costs will vary, but that's a price I got quoted when I asked around.
  16. Updated with closing date sent out pm's to people on the current list. Thanks peoples
  17. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=64917 Hope you get your $$ back..
  18. Jim Berry is probably the bloke you want to speak to. 07 3847 9999. He's from QLD, no idea where but a lot of people have had clutches made by him.
  19. It's on now (in Syd anyway). I like the coverage but the camera angles could be better.. I guess I'm spoilt from watching too many Option DVDs though.

  23. thanks ppls ill have to have a look im hopin to start a group buy and get em cheaaaaaaap ronin is 53mm to big for street use as in is there anything wrong with getting too cool becuase i notice on some nights (early morninish) my water temps are only just over 70degrees
  24. hmmm on my r32 i was able to fit 6 by 9s without any body mods just made up mdf backing.... only problem you would have is with clearance behind... depending on the mounting depth.... mine were like 78mm so they fitted up fine but i had to use 18mm and they cleared the windows but door trim wouldnt go on... if they were like half a cm smaller should have been able to fit them on problems... so it would depend on the size but then again 6.5 inches speakers are way better gotta do my install this wkend
  25. Hey was looking at upgrading the radiator on my r32. i want to get a koyo 53mm aluminium one. They only make them for GTR's, does anyone know if these will fit to a gtst? will they just bolt up or lot of modiification... i have no clue so would appreciate any info thanks
