That'd be cool! I'd love to get a Shootout reading..at the moment just taking my car to a local joint for $66..but it's just an ordinary Dyno Dynamics Dyno (potential tongue-twister?)..but for that price and the convenience I can live with it.

RussGTR - DOTARS' service charter says 17 days..I'll assume they're business days based on my exp..I just received approval yesterday for a car I applied for in the last wk of March. As for everyone else, just hang on there! You'll get them eventually (although waiting since Feb seems excessive, I had to wait about 1 month I think for my SEVS plate to arrive at my compliancer's door..lots of daily phone calls to chase it up!)

Yeh I had that squeaking problem and it nearly drove me crazy. Mechanics replaced the bushes because they thought they were gone, but that didn't fix it. In the end just lubed the suspension arms and everything's fine now.

Hi, Looking for a full exhaust upgrade from the (stock) turbo back. Probably going to get a dump/front pipe & cat from Batmbl if they're still available. Add to that a Jap cat-back (dunno which type yet). If I buy all that separately, is that all I need to get fitted, or is there any other piping required? Cheers!

Most tradespeople charge a quote to cover their time if they come out and you don't go ahead with the job, although if you do go ahead usually they'll take it off the bill. As for that guys tactics, that's a bit harsh. Usually the tradespeople I've dealt with send you an invoice in the mail.

I was quoted $1500 to buy, install and tune the e-manage, and $1995 for the Link ECU..You can prolly get both cheaper if you look around, that was just from a quick call around.. I'm really tossing it up at the moment - oh well, all's fun when doing up your car!

I rang around a few places today trying to get prices for tuning of the e-manage, and was actually talked out of it by a distributor. They told me that for the money I'm spending on an e-manage (incl tuning), they'd recommend something like the Link ECU. Main reason was that they said coil packs are prone to failure under the e-manage (which I believe has been discussed in this thread).. Just passing on what I've heard - if you'd like to know more PM me.
