Well, after picking up my 1996 GTSt from auction in Japan in mid-October, it's now finally sitting in my garage, registered, complied and good to go! (oh, and fully insured too hehe) Few delays along the way, nothing major..compliancers opened up on Boxing Day so I could pick up my ride, how nice of them! Still got to get my 3rd tier inspection done, but that's pretty much a formality. So I'm finally looking forward to seeing a few of you ppls around, especially those out Penrith way! If you see a black man driving a white R33, don't call the police, wave! hehe (that's me btw, don't take offence!)..

Depends on the state too - check your states registration authority website for details. If it's illegal you can get defected for it, not to mention it can be dangerous to yourself and other drivers.. Merry Xmas!

How about Reading Cinemas? There's a nice big one in Auburn. I first went to one of them in Perth, was thoroughly impressed. I go a fair bit and you don't really seem to get that big a crowd, plus it's relatively new so the cinemas don't stink.

Can't you go to the bank and say that the dude messed you up? You paid for goods not received.. Failing that, call up the bank and say that you deposited the money into the account by accident (Wrong account no?). I've messed up the account number before and the bank has reversed my deposit. While I don't advocate 'shady' tactics, if you have been wronged sometimes it's the only way out..

Hi, I'm looking at some mild performance mods for my 'line. Not planning on taking onto the track for any major racing time, except for the occasional hoon along WSID once it opens Anyway I'm trying to achieve around 200-200rwkW, and looking at intercooler upgrades to help that along the way.. Just wondering if it's really necessary to shell out on one of those 600x270x?.. front mounts, or will I be able to scrape by with a stock intercooler (maybe a r34 GT-T one if necessary)? Other options I was looking at was a not-as-big FMIC, like an VR4 / Evo / Apexi (500x?x?) ones.. Any advice? Cheers..

I was quoted approx $4500..which includes the tyres..so it's pretty much the same as zymotic..used to be a lot cheaper but SEVS has made it pretty hard (and expensive) for workshops to gain accreditation.

Hiya! Before I pick up my car tomorrow, have a question that I am sorta puzzling over. The auction sheet on my car said I only had a/c (as opposed to climate control), but can someone look at the pic of my dash and tell me if I have climate control or not? I may be out on this one, but I thought regular A/C had the buttons you could pull back and forth like in other cars.. Sorry for the small pic but that's the best I could get now. Cheers!

Just on this, when I was in Canberra about a month ago, I saw a '94 GTR with 41000km on it for $25,000 @ Evo..didn't ask to look under the bonnet but exterior looked fairly clean.. And I picked up a '96 GTST from Japan for Y920,000 FOB - bit on the high side but I wanted a nice one. Gonna see my baby for the first time tomorrow, soo excited!

Actually I just spoke to Brant today about TTs and their alarms..they said you can fit them so they'll arm after the TT shuts off, however I was looking at getting the reverse done..I have the TT already installed. You'd probably have to give them a call I reckon..

Yeh I was thinking that but I remember hearing somewhere that a lot of Japanese cars didn't have alarms installed. Hopefully it does, would save me some $$. Just wondering if that was a standard feature on the cars..
