  1. Your f**king awsome mate, thanks alot, this helped so much.
  2. Its going into a Silvia, RWD. East West setup? Does that mean FWD? I Am going to use an S14 SR20DE Block, with an SR20VE Head. Only problems I can see is, wiring, intake manifold, and the Dizzy, not sure how the hell that is going to fit behind the engine. Can anyone advise me?
  3. Thats neat man! Did you use a GTiR block? Or did the SR20VE Block fit straight in? Also what intake manifold did you use? and the wiring? Will normal SR20DE Loom do the job? I will get an aftermarket management system to get it all tuned up. Cheers. Also where can I find an SR20VE head, got any ideas?
  4. Ah alright, can you explain what east west engines are? lol sorry I'm not very clued up with this stuff, pretty new to it all. Cheers man
  5. Hey all, I had a crazy idea last night and I decided I wanted to put an SR20VE Head on an SR20DE S14 Block. Question is, will this work? I see people saying stuff about the solenoids, is that a big problem relocating them? Also I see people getting custom intake manifolds made up, can't I just use the SR20DE Intake manifold? I may not necessarily do this but I am just very curious, and hopefully the more knowledgable members out there can clear some stuff up for me. Cheers!
  6. This would be a machine for any young driver here in australia, due to our gay P plate restrictions.
  7. Will do man, thanks. Ye basically, that was what I was going to do. - K & N Panel Filter - Cat back with high flow cat - Extractors - Nistune ECU Chip - Tomei Pon Cams - Coil Overs - Strut Braces - Nice set of 17"s I'll contact him to see if I missed anything Cheers
  8. read, please open your eyes, and just read.
  9. ye that is true, S15 SR20DET Stock make 147kw, which would be great for me really. But yea what "bolt ons" did he do? I don't mind spending on easy stuff. Mad089 said I should get a nistune chip, which I am going to do first + set of cams, and get it all tuned, will make some good power
  10. Maybe take it back to the workshop, I'm sure they could sus it out for you seeing the car was working fine before they touched it. But yea from what it sounds like coilpacks, find one of your mates and swap, if it fixes, get some coilpacks:) If NOT, go back to the workshop that did conversion.
  11. Alright, sounds like a good idea. Thanks again for the info man, really helped, and it makes sense Will be in touch with you when I get my new engine.
  12. Car was a gift, I absolutely love the S15, and that be the reason i want to keep it. If you read my otherposts, you will see that I have decided not to do a non turbo conversion, instead purchase an S14SR20DE do some mild engine work and chuck it in. I can buy a N/A S13 easy, but the S15 is my dream car, and I finally have it now. Not going to let go of it. And no I am not related to that guy, he just unbolted the turbo and drove it like that, which was absolutely stupid. I was planning to completely rebuild the engine with SR22 Kit from tomei, that has high compression pistons and will have more grunt. Anyone with half a brain knows that pulling a turbo off a motor that was BUILT for a turbo, then trying to drive it, is not going to go well.
  13. Also, which cams should I get? http://www.tomei-p.co.jp/_2003web-catalogue/efr_index.html
