  1. Ok I'm here but all I see is two bogans in an r31 who are clearly not coming on acount of the 14" steelies
  2. Errrr just noticed that it's next week. Sorry 'special services' are off the table. For now.
  3. Hey guys, I just came back into the country this week and I spaced on the fact that the dinner is tomorrow. I was wondering if anyone could help me out in a big way by giving me a lift to the event. I will either be in newtown at home or Japlink in haberfield. Any volunteer is greatly appreciated. I'll pay for all the gas you use that night, and I can include 'special services' to be determined. Double wink. Please pm me and I'll send you my contact info. Thanks everyone.
  4. I didn't even check where the dinner was. I'm no geographist. I heard someone request a place to stay, and I know when I went to Canberra I would have appreciated if anyone offered a couch. Spent the night feeling alienated in a $200 room instead. Offer's still on the table.
  5. +1 Paid Unlike Matt, I only need one single lady. This guy's a heartbreaker. So, I can't wear my thong to the dinner? I don't think it's any business of the SAU what underwear I have on. Also, the couch in my apartment is available to anyone. I also have camping gear, so party/crash at my place for anyone who's interested. Underground parking too.
  6. I know your secret A little birdy told me. Also, free bump.
  7. HAhha Owen, I'm actually doing the same thing today! Plan is Texi, apartment at noon in Woolloomooloo, Texi. Going to be driving a lot today. Bahahah, I think I said that at Muralan But it sure did come in handy for me! See you guys on the pad! Ok I mean I'll see you on the pad while I stand by and watch. Car's not ready
  8. Hey guys, When I first bought my car noticed that in the intermittent headlight selection where you light up your rears and dash (poor wording, i know) the corners of the xenon headlights would light up. I've attached a pic so you can see what I'm talking about. Well this corner light doesn't come on anymore on either side. I'm not sure if they're burnt out (on both sides? I find that hard to believe) or if there is some combination of settings that's needed to light them up. Any clues? I have the fog light selector on the dash, but it does nothing (seriously nissan 4 settings for the fog lights?) And I don't remember having to do anything special to turn them on before. I trolled the forum, but i haven't seen any posting like this before.
  9. First. You showing again Adam?
  10. Haha, yeah I kept going straight because I thought I still could see the xenon's 10-12 cars back.
  11. Bah so jealous Eric! Looks to be some great weather today too! Post pics of that RX7 tonight, if you have a change to bring out the camera that is.
  12. And here are my pics. First time using the camera, so obviously it's crap. But for what I'm lacking in quality, I make up in quantity. Does the size of the picture matter? banner by RGBelly, on Flickr
  13. Ok I decided, instead of sleeping, I can not sleep: Sorry I went a little crazy with the pics DSC_8087 by RGBelly, on Flickr
  14. Oh yeah for sure!! I'll be heading back to Canada in May (if plans don't change), so we'll for sure be in touch through SAU. I can have a welcoming committee set up for you when you land.
  15. Wait wait wait. Are we talking about a release form, or a "form of release"?
  16. Big thanks to the execs for setting his one up, and what a bargain! I really enjoyed driving in the wet and I was absolutely amazed with what a car is capable of doing even in terrible weather. This was my first track day, and definitely will not be my last, much to the dismay of my better half Thanks to Duncan for the ride along, and so close after lunch too. I took Adam out on the very next run and he commented that I was doing certain sections really well, and those were the sections where I really applied your advice! I have a ton of photos, but I am completely burned out right now, so I'm off to bed, and I'll make sure to post some of them tomorrow.
  17. Me -> <- Everyone else I wanted to talk in the events section but it looks like someone's locking down the threads. I was reading fresh comments, then they all disappeared as I went to reply It was a good meet everyone, and the track day on Saturday was also awesome, and I think I am severely addicted now. So many new faces, if I start shouting out names I'm sure I'll leave someone out. So I'll just thank Eric and Kat for repeatedly boosting my car!!!! So get this guys: when I didn't take the turn off towards Sydney, and accidentally followed Kat we pulled over and then my car died again just as I was going to turn around Kat, AKA basically working for NRMA now, heads off the source some jumper leads. An Irishman pulls over and he starts looking over the engine bay. I ask him if he's got cables, but he doesn't. Now, the bracket for the negative terminal is totally stuffed, so I assumed this was the problem, or some electronics inside the car grounding out. This guy freaking wiggles the positive lead and the car jumps back to life! Full battery, ready to start. That little red box on the positive terminal (contains a fuse, I guess?) was loose. FML! I was sitting there for a long time trying to roll start the poor thing. All is well now! Thanks everyone for a great weekend. /End of novel.
  18. HAha, alright. Well if I see a skyline on the Hume I'm sticking with it
  19. Is anyone meeting around the Sydney area to cruise down there? I guess I could have asked about this a little more in advance than 6 hours before departure time I'll check back tomorrow morning. I'm in the city, so I'll be driving the entire length of the Hume. LF anyone to propose a meet spot for 6:15-6:30 (depending on where you live). PM I'll toss you my digits.
  20. Hey David, You gonna be in the market for a black R34 GTT when you're off your plates?
  21. I'm checking in. Is there a preference on hotels?
  22. I'm going, even though I am massively hung over right now.
  23. Nice pics Pat, I can't believe how badass and not filthy my car looks in that pic. Also embarrassed about how close you're tailing I could have sworn there was a larger gap between us In my defense I think this was the bit where we were rolling @ 30kph. That is the speed we were doing during the entire run *wink* Oncoming car must of deuced in his seat seeing me oversteer and snap back, and you understeer and plow. THERE's NO ESCAPE!! Beers. Monday. Do it.
  24. +1 cruise slash crashing the grad party. +11ty jailbait. Also, my money is on this being a planned robbery.
  25. I can't stop laughing, thanks for sharing Bob. Really difficult to type while laughing. Suppressing.. urge... to quote... the listing. ok maybe one: Two Tone Leather Interior To Tan Leather Exterior
