how would i know if my timing is not right. surley they would have told me if the timing was not right. I dono if the trans was slipping i would have thought they would have told me that too. Did feel a bit quicker last nite as it was cooler but still dissapointed with the hiflow turbo -

you have an extra .5 of a litre but even then somethings is not right ay. Inlet temps were 50 i think it says on the dyno sheet to dono if that owuld make that much difference either -

yeah even though mines auto seems a bit odd doesn't it could it be a boost leak from anywhere like the turbo or something i wouldn't have though so but i dono what else could be the reason. I am running more boost and on a hiflow turbo and you have more than me a bit odd. Wat dyno was yours on -

RB25 hiflow i brought it of BHDAVE from this forum do you think maybe something could be wrong? i am using a boost controller from the forums one of the 22$ ones, although the boost line seems to be normal i have been told so this must be ok. Just really thought i would have got more HP than i have -

it has gtr injectors yeah it does feel faster actually runs nice. think maybe ill get shift kit as well to help out with shifting speed. I just though only running 14psi for most the time is pritt shit. It was done at hyperdrive in WA it has a rom tune which is like putting a chip into it as its an auto so aftermarket is pritty hard to use -
Just got my standard ecu remapped/dynotuned (rom tune from hyperdrive). Came up with 232hp at the wheels. DYNO GRAPH http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a251/aut...ot/scan0003.jpg My car is an 93 auto gtst with gcg stage 2 R33 hiflow turbo (500hp) full 3inch exhaust no cat and no spliter in the dump XFORCE system with 2 a midmuffler and rear cannon apexi pod filter gtr injector and z32 afm 040 fuel pump front mount intercooler. 22$ boost controller still using the rb20 actuator with it presprung a little bit. Does this sounds like a fairly decent power figure for an auto? i thought it was pritty low but yeah guy that did the tune seems to think its about all you will get from it. ALso sometimes before it changes gears it goes on the limiter and take a while to change is this cause the auto can't keep up. Was thinking about getting a shift kit to fix this but dono if it would Only problems i can think of that could cause lack of HP are: I had to rotate the turbo housing cause BHDAVE had a himount manfold or something. Could the seal be leaking since i have done this and cause any problems. I doubt it cause air fuel ratios were good hyperdrive said and seems to hold boost fairly well. Also had a small crack in cooler piping but i patched it up with silcon hosing and put like 4 hose clamps on it (bit of over kill) but i don't htink its leaking or As someone mentioned the intake pipe is collapsing inwards with so much boost Guy i brought the turbo off was running 12psi,with the stock injectors in it at this stage which is why the a/f ratio starts climbing at 6k and made 173rkw's http://image-cache.skylinesaustralia.com/f...-1132642989.jpg

mine takes quiet a long time to warm up dono if this is a good thing or not.

looks at the air con diagnostics under the gtr service manual. you hold the off button for a few seconds after turning the ignition on. Not that doing this is going to find your problem though

i thought it would be good being able to adjust the duty cycles although from the sounds of it, it can be a bit difficult to set up. Oh well sticking to my 22$ boost controller for now till i find a second hand ebc

hyperdrive seem to have a good reputation and i am going there on monday for tune. For subaru's (used to have one ) RMS seem to be popular but yeah never had any experence with them. if you have a 94-96 or RS liberty motor you can get a chip made up for youstandard computer. thats wat i had

yeah i thinking of getting an electronic boost contoler looking for second hand APEXI AVCR i think they seem to be able to do the most rather than just plain two boost setting and thats it. Mines also auto buy yeah its a r32 so different to you guys. Mad34 let me know when you get the shift kit from MV i was gona get one too and a trans cooler maybe cheaper to get together even if they are different

i actually had a similar problem with my car just try someone elses ignitor see if that fixes it. Thats wat i did and it was my problem

yeah but i am not 100 sure if its the problem so don't want to pay big dollars. Its a small black box with wires coming out of it(all covered in black) one bolt holding it in and it should come out and has a small metal point at the end of the part that goes inside the gearbox. Its on the rear left side of the box (siting in the drivers seat) cheers mate much appreciated if oyu can have a look when oyu do conversion think it may still be series 1 and wrong but worth a look

Hey Got some problems i want to try get rid of but don't really know whats causing them. Firstly have error code 21 (primary ignition signal) car seems to run fine and have tried another CAS and the ignitor has been rebuilt so dono wat is causing it so wouldn't mind testing someone elses ignitor to see if the ppl that rebuilt it stuff something up. ALso air con doesn't work and i am 99% sure its the computer as there is a signal going in but no signal going out. So need to try someones computer as well, dono if i need an auto one or not my car is auto. I have consult thingo to plug into lap top to check codes so i can check the codes on your car too, any help much appretiated just want to sort my car out before i get the rom tune as don't want to get tune then find i have to replace the computer, or find out that the error code causes problems when getting higher horse power. cheers PM or preferbly SMS or call me i am in sorrento but willing to go most places north of the river. 0433354740

yeah illl try put it there. was gona put it near the battery but not sure see where i can get the wiring. The CAS didn't get rid of my code 21 (primary ignition sensor) and it seems its the computer that is stoping my air con from work as well as there is a signal into computer but not out, so gotta find a computer and figure out this code 21 before i get tune problay

yeah i don't like it at all but i could change that easy enough problay sell it and get standard or gtr bar but i don't like chances of gettting a gtr bar for it. Does sound ok though but could be a dodge rebuild and yeah gona have to get another turbo again and injector and all that will see. Cheers for the resistor cubes, i sent a pm but i don't think it worked came up with error. where would you recomend to fit it? its bigger and more shiny than expected.

yeah stall will be exspensive thought. This is the detail for the r33 going to have a look today1995, done 138K but engine was rebuilt at 100k to fit the arias pistons,RB25DET (unsure of mods previous owner insisted the pistons are Arias forged) Apexi airflow Cusco Struts HKS SSQ BOV BLITZ Boost controller Radiator just serviced and channell cleaned HKS Heavy duty 3 puk clutch New hoses and water pump Interior: Nismo dash unit HKS boost guage Quik Shifter Internal blitz boost controller unit pivot turbo timer Exterior: White GTR skirts GTR rear spoiler GT400R front bar 3 inch blitz exhaust with chrome cannon back 5 spoke 17" near new tyres Sunroof I don't like the front bar but supose i can sort that out. Overall i prefere the look of my car but yeah the fact its is manual and a 2.5litre may just make it better. Unless i go see it and the interior and outside is poor conidtion ill just keep mine and go head with tune

thats not too bad i supose. Wat the shift kit like is it a bit harsh changing gears fast on the street? guy has offered to maybe swap for a 95 manaul r33 so tempted i just like the look of r32 better though

i have brought all the parts i need now, injectors, AFM, resitor i am just wondering am i gona have traction problems at hi revs and still the crap take of speed. Off the line my car is a slug from standing start, its gona kill my quarter mile times, i thought of getting shift kit but i figure its not gona make a difference for take off and traction may be bad enough at gearchanges anyway. ANyone else have a fairly quick auto and can give me some advice? i dont want ot waste 1k on tune and still have a slow car
