turbo is sold to me

Hey after a 3inch replacement pipe for my cat i saw them for sale on some shop website awhile ago but i can't find it again. Just want it so i can bolt it on and off so it had the flanges on both sided as is the same size as the cat cheers

anyone? quiet a few ppl have this problem would be good to find the culprit

I have a problem with my gearbox were sometimes it stays in first or goes into nuetral i think after looking at the carman scan i think it is the speedsensor but i was wondering if i could try get a cheap second hand one just to see as i don't want to buy new if i don't have to. Its a black sensor on the rear left of the box. Cheers

i am thinking of getting one of these or a GTRS but its for a rb20 let us know how you go

will it be more laggy than your turbo though? i really don't want a lag monster but i don't want a small increase that the GTSS would only give

i asked him and all he said was price is delivered. so i guess he either doesn't know or htinks i am a time waster. hrrm dono wat to do now

no i didn't not tell them i was only after 300 so is the 350 hp only at the flywheel for that turbo you think

yeah 300 at the wheels. Yeah ill find out about oil and water lines but i doubt they are the same. So that turbo would bolts straight onto my exisiting dump pipe manifold and intake pipe? by the sounds of it that turbo would be enough for the sorta power i am after and a lot cheaper, i just don't want to run into trouble with the install

oh yeah with the kits for the GTRS for 2700 apparently it is everything you need they just said it may be a bit more or bit less depending on exchange rate. so around 300 extra to fit and they said at most it should be 2800 for the turbo kit. so for the extra 300 for them to dyno it before and after and set to safe boost iwth injectors doesn't seem to bad. i dono wat 1900 us dollars is though how do you convert it?

i was told the GTRs will be less laggy than the 2530 This is the reply i got from horsepowerinabox "We do a RB style Garrett GT28RS that uses an original RB Nissan Exhaust housing to retain the TY3 flange and 6 bolt dump. These units are $1850 delivered, and we also offer an oil/water kit in braided for $280." is this the GTRs? or some sort of version of it? my car is auto and i want around 300hp as pritty much that as far as you can go with the stock engine internals.

oh yeah and the guy said you can get the GTRs for 2700 for the kit but for the extra 300 its worth them doing it cause they will dyno before and after and set to safe boost level on dyno as i have stock injectors atm

don't oyu need to weld the dump pipe and stuff though. i changed the turbo myself on my wrx so i would be able to manage i just want to make sure i get all the parts i need with no welding

thanks but i'd rather get the whole kit in and done for 3000. That way i know its brand new and i don't have to get oil lines etc

i got quote 2700 to suply and fit a 2530 Garret turbo brand new. for the extra money i would rather go for the gtrs due to the workshop is more know that will do it for 3k. Unless i can find a garret install for more like 2000 no ones seems to want to give me a price and if they do they recon you need lots of custom stuff. like manifold etc which doesn't make sense. (i figure they don't know wat they are on about)

so it may be better to stick with GT SS so i don't ahve to run so much boost as it is a standard engine with front mount exhaust filter fuel pump, i will get injector and tune wafter when i can afford it but engine is gona stay standard for a long while

the guys that i may get the gtrs from recon that it would be too laggy on my r32 cause its a rb20 and auto

yeah i don't know anyone with a 2530. so you recon a gt RS turbo would be better than a 2530? its gona cost me 3k to get a brand new one installed (the GT RS

Anyone have one on their R32 and what is it like lagwise, wat sorta power etc. Also which turbo would you recomend the RS or SS

just curious as i was thinking of getting one of these turbo or a to4 hydrid. Are you still running stock injectors and if so how much boost can you run the 2530 with stock injectors and just 040 fuel pump as i won't be able to afford injectors for a while and you didn't mention injectors in your list

yeah i think ill just have a think about it for a bit longer and maybe try get some more prices on getting the GT2530 installed as a lot of people do have them and swear by them. It just a lot of money when i have to get gtr injectors and stuff as well but i figure no point just going small with the rb25 turbo. how much boost with the GT turbo should i be able to run with the stock engine with front mount 040 fuel pump and exhaust? if i have injector and tune? and if i don't have injector and tune? i have found a dual stage boost controler (turbosmart) for 130 would this be worth getting or would the turbo's boost be controler wiht adjustable wastegate actuator do the job better than a controller? oh one last thing i won't need the Z32 AFM with the GT will I? thanks for all the info and helps guys much appreciated just want to try make sure i have everything sorted
