Does any one have a r34 gtt harmonic balancer sitting around in reasonable condition ? Will buy off someone . Bought an r33 one last week but the pulleys are different sizes. Need as soon as possible have to get the car back on the road before my Dickson inspection! Thanks

@ Jimmy - Timing belt looks pretty worn with lots of cracks so i doubt its been changed on the way here (i bought it this year fresh import ) @RS4 - I hope this is the case )

Any input! ? Also do insurance paint repair jobs just involve slight sanding back then spraying ? Do they ever do full sand backs then primer+paint etc ?

No markings on the old belt, just lots of tiny cracks and worn out. But i think this car has had heaps of little bits changed over to make it look like low kms, all the little bits changed over here and there. Hopefully not over 200k kms!

Hello! Was just doing my 100k kms service and saw all this red markings all over all the bolts and some markings on the water pump. Does this indicate that they have been replaced before ? I was pretty positive that my skyline was not 78k kms when i bought it but 178k~kms. See picture attached !

i always drag race people in my 0-100km/h in 2minutes car because that way i feel like i won when i full throttle and barely manage to reach the speed limit before they do while they dont even know im trying to race them

Spotted black r33 near fyshwick, then a white R34 with a guy who waved at me ; i waved back through my rear tint but i dont think he saw; then 50metres ahead another white r34 with half a wing ? i was in an r34 also btw if white r34 guy who waved at me today can tell me how to get those red/white rear bar reverse lights i will be happy

Suncorp is going to have a look tomorrowski at my car. Is there any recommended preperations that need to be done ? Putting stock coilovers back in etc or removal of any mods in case they say its this and that which caused this dent therefore its not our fault. I waxed and polished it to make it look neat like i care about the car but thats all i can think of. Just needing some advice so all damages that were caused by the lady are repaired. Thanks

hmmm a nice lady basically told me to try other places as they are booked out. i said no worries then she say they may take 3 days to do a quote ? i said no worries so she say i should try other places first This is a lot harder than i thought it would be !!!

Ill give them a call thanks Shell I know a left hand quarter panel would be easy to source can even find on eBay but the headlights are hard to find (new ones that is). Will insurance guys go with brand new ones or they wouldn't matter if they got used ones, or can i argue that the used ones wont be bright enough due to being more dull

Trying to ring a few peoples JRacing Tony Farrugio (recommended by most) - they said they dont do imports and are booked out till october Prestige Auto - they say r34 parts are hard to come by but will have a look this week Yet to call Naz at KMF Anymore recommendations ? They need to have ties with Suncorp aparently or Suncorp won't do it

Update : Called insurance company, lady that put the claim against me stated that my mate was turning right (to Yass?) and lost grip and drifted out into her! But then insurance company read the police report and it stated that she did not know where the car came from and she didnt see what actually happened so the insurance lady instantly goes yep she was at fault! She had already payed the excess too. Now i need pick a nice smash repair place that will look after my skyline well but needs to have connection with Suncorp. Gotta get assessement done by Suncorp first but they will pay for a taxi and all which is nice of them When i took it to one of the guys to get assessement done they noticed that both headlights had cracked at the joins and the bracket snapped off so means i can get some brand new ones which arent all yellow and stressed And lastly call up the lady and ask why she was bsing

Next time i see you (side by side in our lines) stick around for a bit I swear most people stare at the dent and they stick their heads out the windows to try to 'show' you that they are aware of the damage kind of like being smart arses with their exagerations. Maybe i need to take my p plates off they make me look like a hoon
