Installation of the coilovers was farkin easy. helps having compressor + rattle gun though. back seats came off in a few mins and very easy to align them in. I think before my car was sold to me the original suspension was put back in thats why most bolts were easy to remove. I dropped in down pretty low but not too low (1 finger width between gaurd and tyre). The back wheels now have massive toe-in not sure why. I bought some BC BR ones for R34gtt now the cornerning is very good no body roll feels a lot safer now but pretty bumpy! I havent had wheel alignment done yet but will definetly need one, not sure if its that out in the wet the car fishtails and back slips out without even putting any effort in which means i have to drive extremely slow around corners in the wet, but the traction in the dry is great. COuld also be my tyres i have some Nexus brand korean tyres which seem to last 30, 000km and dont seem to have much tread at all.

My car looks sad with the dents and bends I think when you learn your to control your car and know how to avoid spinning out is great but the greatest enemy is everyone else. Most people drive because they want to get from A to B and thats all a car means to them, they don't know shit about it and most likely dont pay any attention to their driving or anything around them. These people would rather get the driving over and done with and try to fill in their boredom doing other stuff like putting on makeup and reading a book (this is quiet common!) If they enjoyed driving they would pay attention. My problem is i put too much trust in other drivers although i can predict well what they are going to do and how fast they are going, their distance etc but when all that is checked in my brain i trust they aren't going pull out suddenly at the last second or merge into me when they most likely already seen me. Its like the people that drive extra extra slow, pull out of roundabouts and dont know how to merge so they stop suddenly instead of merging smoothly - those type of people think they are the safe driver doing everything right but complete opposite its all about predictability and smoothness going with the flow. When you enjoy getting in your car, going through the gears (no carhomo) and all that comes with driving you pay attention to everything and are more aware of everything else making you much safer driver. I think people that don't appreciate cars shouldn't be allowed to drive and the ones that haven't completed many driving training INCLUDING changing your own oil and how the gearbox, engine & suspension .. Something like that I am 12 and what is this ?

You can write a report with my number plate details saying u saw some bish pull out and say you couldnt stop because of traffic:P then delete the thread I called Suncorp and they are investigating it now to see who is to blame as she put me down as being my fault.... after lying to my face. Called the lady she is with Suncorp and gave me a claim number (not sure how to check it ). But she sounded a bit sus, i asked her about the police report and how the insurance company will contact me and she said it depends who they find is at fault. So she most likely bullshitted saying i was to blame. If things dont go well there is the old fashioned way left. She wrote her details on the back of a receipt for mechanics repair and it had something like AUTO, and PARTS - 14$ , LABOUR - $200 so she must have had her window wipers changed for 200$ haha

I took about 7 photos not very clear because of no Flash but it shows us on the medium strip at the end of the roundabout. Not really possible to speed on that roundabout as the limit is 80km/h and don't think my car can turn that fast. At first she didn't admit fault tried to blame him because obviously she had a moment where she completely forgot the rules of a roundabout and didnt even take a glance to her right to see bright 6000k HIDS. then realized and apologized many times. Location was the roundabout on Gundaroo where it goes through Barton highway we were traveling from gunners to Belco area was literally a metre from the exit (long roundabout). I have her drivers license number and name / phone number. I can try calling NRMA and asking them if she is insured but will they give me that information ? Police report has been done. Police were called but they said if no one was injured then they wont come. I dont have third party property just the standard insurance, car registered etc.

Hai, My mate was driving my skyline me in the passenger seat and at the big roundabout on gundaroo we were going straight and right at the exit of the roundabout some lady flew out not giving a shit about taking a look to her right (which had about 100metres+ of clear visibility) so my mate slams the brakes as she is flying out and she slam the brakes too my car bounces off hers and side swipes it. These skylines are tough as the only bits damaged were the quarter panel, front bar scratched, bonnet corner dented and the back has a tiny dent. The steel in the front is thickest ive seen. Lady car side was pretty badly damaged. Question is i have no comprehensive insurance she does, its definetly her fault. What can i expect in terms of parts, repairs, wait etc. The front quarter panel needs to be replaced 100% as its pretty mangled, bonnet might need to be fixed up, light replaced and rear needs to be popped out and repainted scratches, but the whole rear is part of the roof Just lowered the car with coilovers the day before now scrapes on every bump Here are some pics shitty i know ill take some more decent ones in the light tomorrow.

Gray r34 (Sinista?) & r33 with domo kun hanging off the back from city to tuggerz. we were all driving like grandmas fuel expensive these days . i was in black r34 with p plates.

Saw Chris who said i should prbly install it and adjust it myself and he doesnt do gaurd rolling either. What is a recommended height to make r34 look sexy but so doesn't screw up handling ?

Hi, I made purchase of some adjustable coilovers for my r34gtt. I was thinking of installing them myself but have a few questions first. i) My tyres are 245/40/18 at front and 265/35/18 at the back and with stock suspension the fronts already strip some paint off my gaurds when parking, when it is lowered i would need to have the gaurds rolled ? ii) Should i install the coilvoers myself and then give them to a shop to do the setting up of settings and alignments etc ? iii) What would be the lowest i can go wihtout farkin up the balance of suspensions (I dont have any aftermarket suspension components so prbly not much can be adjusted) iv) Who is recommended to do rolling of gaurds, setting up suspension, alignments etc all in one ? v) Should i instgall them myself to save money then have the shop set it up, or does the coilovers need to be out of the car to do any adjustments to them ? THanks

yeah fuark im heaps amazed . it completely stopped smoking couldnt even detect the tiniest amount think im gonna keep it in there for another week before flushing coolant again, hopefully will last till summer when i will have the energy (and not freeze) to replace the head. thanks again (no homo)

No more smokes now i drove from gunnghalin to tuggerz with no problems (apart from 30degree diff freeplay) but no more smoke. Radiator did look like it was being blocked by the chunks in chemi-weld but seems to have dissolved now. Thanks for the help guys now i can not put 1200kms a week on my skyline

was flushing the engine for the chem-i-weld i bought and noticed bubbles of coolant near the 4th cylinder on the exhaust manifold gasket that means the head is cracked yes ? did the chem-i-weld the smoke got considerably less after running for 30mins now i will give it a week and maybe do another later

lol it was even and very tight worked alright for first 20,000 kms might try the seal and go and sell it to some unsuspecting person ? or is that mean

Actually thinking back i think it may have been the headgasket as when i rebuilt it i didnt use a torque wrench on the head just did even turns on each bolt. (didnt have the star socket in 3/4" drive)

You think crack between cylinder hole and coolant gallery or just headgasket? If its headgasket or head i can do it in a few hours no worries but if block would be sad wasted time but i gained lots of knowledge from rebuilding myself. How long the chemiweld will hold ? Engine is 4AFE series 1

Hi, I have this issue with my non skyline, whenever it is warm it blows a bit of white/gray smoke and drips a bit of water (when fully warmed up ) and if u hit the throttle water shoots out 1 metre+ and smoke everywhere. There is no coolant in the oil, no oil around the coolant cap, its not losing any noticable amount of coolant, oil looks clean, idles fine and has what i think is all its power still. What could this issue be ? Cracked head around the exhaust valves ? Its DOHC alloy head which has ~300k kms and does have visible cracks on the back of it but they have been there for 50k kms and it never blew smoke. *I did rebuild the engine 20,000kms (not the head) Anyone any ideas or even come by have a look im in ghunghalin area. <3 (no homo)

Anyone who lives in gunghalins notice the prank detour cones put on the road making everyone avoid gde making them turn into northbourne lol massive ammount of traffic

yellow r34 with wide body kit and no wing in gunghalins and yellow r34 on parkway ( i was in black r34)

<7AM a 33GTR after parkway road . He hit the throttle and biggest cloud of smoke shot out was like 20metres^3 in size lol
