Thanks for all the replies guys Car passed with flying colors, had a very helpful mechanic who looked at it and was pretty easy going. Hopefully i'll see you guys at some cruise in the New Year.

Unfortunately my rego has run out today.. I assume i can pay for a permit to drive it around to get it roadworthy yeh? And also when going for the roadworthy, that 50 odd bucks, does that cover me to come back if i dont pass the first time around or do i have to cough up cash each time i go? Thanks guys

Ive recently moved from VIC to the gold coast and am wondering whats involved in getting my car registered in QLD. My VIC rego runs out tomorrow Wondering how picky they are on a safety certificate, what i need to make sure is in good nick etc etc. Not sure if its much different from VIC and their RWC's. And also anyone know someone i can go and see to get a "friendly" safety certificate as im keeping the car. Thanks for any help/advice
