If the powersteering fluid level is low it will cause the HICAS light to come on occasionally, as the rear steering feeds of the same reservoir as the front in R32's. It also could just be a electrical connection problem... .

I took 3 ciggie burns & some deep scratches/chips out of my DIN/gearshift surround (made of ABS I believe) with 1200 wet sanding then cutting wax. You'll probably need solvent to get rid of that window sealing crap .

My g/f prefered my old Torana to the 'line. Something to do with the instant low down torque & the aged dynamics of it meant that you always felt like you were going faster in the Torry.

I find it comical that there are several sites that endulge in the whole Race Breed thing. All I can say is RB20E.... & the diesel RB28.... NOT what I'd call race breed personally. .

My R32 suffered the wanders on wavey surfaced roads when I got it. Later I noticed heavy on the inside edge of the front tyres. I figured this was caused by running way to much toe out causing the tyres to constatly fight each other. Took it to a wheel alignment place & had the toe put back to zero & presto, problem solved. I dont think yours would be a camber problem with std control arms & ride height. Get a wheel alignment & check it out. Mine has now developed a bit of a shake under braking from 90+km/h. I'm not sure whats causing it. I'll have to get the discs looked at... .

Had a brief look at the 4WD Turbo model (NOT the base model) when I was looking at cars to buy. They are quite well equipped (full leather interior, etc) & reasonably quick but be prepared to shell large wads of cash when something breaks.

I found that Pennzoil Synthetic had a wider viscousity range that I thought would be suitable for my car as it has quite a few km on it. Quick flow at cold startup & a bit thicker when hot for an older motor. SAE 5W-50 for about $55. No complaint as yet, but I haven't compared it to the more expensive, harder to get oils. I've been using it for about a year. .
