  1. There is several. Depends on the item, finish required & the base material (pre-preg, woven mat/gelcoat, etc). The mat/gelcoat is similar to using Fibreglass.
  2. Sweet Car Carbon Confectionary out in Kingswood/Penrith do custom work. ph 4731 1819
  3. Looks a little like pork chunks in there... I dont mind a miso occasionally though, be interesting to see if I could get through 2 litres of it
  4. Forgive my ignorance but what actually is Ramen? Due to my abode being surrounded by Indian, Italian & Thai restaurants I dont get out much for Japanese food. Looks like it could be a fun food challenge but I'm not sure what it is... .
  5. Christ! I didn't realise they were worth so much. So I should be taking my mats as well as my stereo face when I leave the car.
  6. I remember that from J-Spec or Prestige (cant remember which) & thought it would be just what I was after, apart from the lack of interior. Noice!
  7. Compressor could also be stuffed. I've got to get mine looked at as well If you find somewhere good for the regas who doesn't rape your arse pirce wise, post it up as I'm sure there would be a few of us in this same boat. .
  8. A 350 Chev would be a much more compact motor than the 4.5/5/5.4L SOHC Porsche V8s, being an ol' pushrod motor... Also you could get rid of that mechanical injection & twin dizzy business.
  9. :werd: Nick Honestly brettinoz, have a bit more consideration for where you're posting your rant... .
  10. Condolences to all families & friends involved. It will be a slower drive home from work from me today as I sure it will be for many of us.
  11. All the BP's in my area seem to be fine for Ultimate as i picked up some on Friday & some this morning in differnt suburbs. I never check for Optimax.
  12. Jeez... 35-40 beers in a night! Its always good to find people who make my alcoholism seem less raging. I thought my had 60+ beers from Thursday to Sunday was bad. In Newtown the Sandringham or the Court House are good for jugs ($9.70 & $10 respectively). Not a big saving of $$ but great for maximising beerage & minimising trips to the bar. .
  13. Woe betide those who be knockin' the beer there wreckedhead Newtown Festival tomorrow = socially acceptable excuse to start on the longnecks at 10am heh heh....
  14. If you block (as you said, with the coke lid) the return pipe & vent the bov to atmosphere the ECU has already registed the vented air as passing the AFM so yes, the mixtures will richen up. If unblocked it they would be a little leaner due to some entering air bypassing the AFM. Oh, & dirtier due to it also bypassing the filter shouldn't be the other way around!? I tried the blocked pipe/vented std bov and found that the car went noticably differently, which means that my car is out of tune Std bov is way loud when vented & the stalling at idle became rather irritating. .
  15. Going from old RB20 turbs to RB25NEO turbs: - lag increased by around 800rpm so it feels a far bit slower around town - 5500-7500rpm much less breathless then before - extra airflow & psi = messed up AFR's from 4000-5000. Most say a new fuel pump & chipped ECU would make it a lot nicer to drive...
  16. The XY Falcs (& the E49s) were beaten by Brocky in an LJ GTR XU-1. I remember the Percy and Gricey win! Quite funny I though at the time. But with any race that long it takes luck as well as a good team/car/driver. PS beer is better than apples or oranges
  17. Spotted a fellow R32 sedan (I'm not the only one?) owner parked on New Canterbury Rd. Silver with std issue yellow plates
  18. There is some rad old racing machinery in the entrants lineup! Renault 5 Turbo, Lancia Stratos, Carrera RS, Ford Pirana... I gotsta get down to have a look!
  19. hmmm... The car is in the Czech Republic, registered in the US, yet there is a BA Falcon behind it in 2 of the shots... parked at the same house no less. Oh, & Oz plates. What a tardox
  20. R32 GTS-t sedan 25 Skip Industrial/furniture/interior Designer
  21. I know a group out in Kingswood who do carbon work. From remoulding your existing parts to custom jobs, they can take it on. Problem is if you need an R32 guard, bonnet etc in CRP you will have to give them one to mould off as they dont have alot of off the shelf parts. Sweet Carbon Car Confectionery @ Kingswood 02 4731 1819 Tell 'em Ben sent ya
  22. Back up to 3 from 5th or 7th that we were a few days ago! Keep it going
  23. Where's the $45 quote from? I've got one my self that I want to put on. Close to twice the internal volume of an R32 stocker
  24. Not too many S4's on Aussie roads though makaveli, but they sure were awsome cars. They took the S4 in race trim around one of the F1 tracks in '86 or 87 (can't remember which one) & it would have qualified 6th on the F1 grid at that track that year!
  25. Nice cruisy night. Good to add a few more faces to the nicks. Bad to be jealous of the M3 (especially its sweet engine sound) driving next to me Points of note include the Pulsar ET getting defected outside the pizza shop, the di(khead in the Sigma & a very stoned French guy asking us if we were waiting to street race.
