series 2 r33 turbo into r32.... are the plastic wheel R33 turbos more or less fragile than the ceramic jobs? do they bolt up the same? will it be a better option than the series 1 as an upgrade on my 32 running std 32 boost (10psi)

hey Mr R32 M-Spec is that the just jap in kirraween? do they do full mechanical repairs? my poor old wagon needs a MAJOR service and a couple of mods done at the same time and i'm having trouble working out who i can get to do it. let us know how the service goes...

do a search for r31 skylines on google.com.au as there is alot of australian r31 based sites. these site tend to have a lot of good links to places alone the lines of what you're after

need help... my abs unit has a slight leak around the small vertical tubes that run between the top & bottom sections (not the solinoid looking things). It loses around 5mm of fluid for around 600km of city driving. can this be repaired or will i have to get it replaced? is this a common problem?

cheers people. i got a 34tt cooler for my 32 and need a pipe cut off and put on the other side... hopefully for around $50 or so ps before i get called a fool i didn't want to go a big f/mount and these supposedly flow 60%+ more that the stocker

anyone had work done by this lot? such as aluminium welding etc what is the service and pricing like? anyone know of similar places

hey gtst i noticed on a thread that you had someone to recommend as a mechanic in the sydney area. as i also need to undertake close to $2000 in mods & repairs very soon i was wondering who you mechanic is. also the R34GTT intercooler is not a direct fit (as i found out) as its pipework is the same as a R33, ie one of the pipes points the wrong way ta for any info

From what i have read around the traps, this swap seemed to be a cost affective 'bolt-on' mod for those of us with close to stock cars. unfortunately they don't quite bolt on as the pipes are reversed, as they are on a R33. as these coolers are usually less than $300, would it be worth while to have one of the tanks cut n shut to suit? if so who is a recommended aluminium welder around sydney?

if that happens in sydney i could see people going to lengths to distroy them... considering that on roads i travel regularly the average speed of all the cars together, slow drivers included, would be more than 3km over the limit. ahh the joys of revenue raising at the expense of the public.

are series 1 rb25det turbos a direct bolt on swap (oil lines included) for a 32gts-t? what are the visual differences (pressings, codes, etc)?

now all i need is a 25det turbo in good nik & someone to set it up and tune it for me... anyone know of anyone in sydney who is reliable & not over priced? ta again for the tips people

i'm not sure but its probably cheaper & easier to start with a GTS4 and put a turbo motor in it.

having driven a 300TT manual, 32s, 33s and my room mate has an s15 i'd say that the 300 definately feels the quickest. 206kw is the claimed output - 225kw is probably more accurate figure from tests on dynos, combined with 390 or so Nm of torque. all are fun cars to be in for factory cars!

mine has one and untill i bought my car i had never seen one nor read about them. comes down at about 75km/m+. not sure how effective it is tho... or you can confuse people by using the dash buttons as it tends to make bit of noise when they go up or down. i think its more of a stupid party trick rather than a performance add on. my car orientated friends got a good laugh out of it

sounds pretty good. ta for the tip... what exactly is a SAFC? a brand of piggyback computer? forgive my ignorance going to rebuild the turbo to be safe as i don't believe it will put up with much more boost. what boost do the ceramic wheels normally put up with?

beware of a black commy monaro getting around sydney as the last time i was at 'the creek' there was one running around a flat 12 or high 11 (around this - my memory fails me at times). either way it was quicker than any skyline was on that particular night it looked quite std but didn't sound it.

what are the interior parts off? where in sydney? ABS unit working & not leaking? need to know how many of these parts are compatable with a 32 sedan.

would the discs fit 5 stud r32 hubs & calipers? what cond ar they in? if so i'm interested in just the discs themselves if possible...
