  1. Steve - Been greatly reducing the beer levels as expected Rezz - The Connaught was probably the most interesting car there for mine. Bristols have always been uber expensive, & that model is the most pricey one More pics...
  2. The V10 is designed (& made I think) in house by Connaught & has only 22.5 deg between the banks. Its a tiny car but still a proper 4 seater. I got given a full run down by 2 of the Designer/Engineers & they will be releasing a hybrid version that gets 42mpg & 6sec to 100. The Stratos was just a mock-up & I don't believe it is an in house concept for Lancia. Hows the orange wing-on-wheels? Didn't end up getting to chat to the lot on that cars stand unfortunately
  3. The 1st pic is a smallish handmade car by Connaught (made successful GP cars 50 years ago). Its got a supercharged 2L V10 & runs to 100 in 4sec or so. The blue Bristol behind the Ford GT is worth 260K Quid

  5. I'd thought I'd do something other than drinking pints so I went along to the motorshow that was on here in London last week. The show was quite a bit smaller than I was expecting but quite a few low production supercars were featured. I'll post some more pics up later - higher res ones available as well

  12. Call or sms me for a quick response on 0408 026 845 as my net use is currently a bit limited
  13. All PM's replied. If it doesn't sell before I go it will be moved to the country & price put back up so, if you want to buy it, now is the time!
  14. Late 20's & early 30's mostly. Not sure when it was finally bulldosed though
  15. I think Garlick is buried at the old Bondi Graveyard I believe there was another Speedway where the SFS carpark is now in the same era as the Maroubra track
  16. Yeah fun but silly in an open topped car with no harness! It was only open for less than a decade I believe yet many people died there. Check out the spectators with their legs hanging onto the track! Yeah its all housing commission now. I used to live in Byng St just at the North end of the satelite pic
  17. As per last weeks Catalina post, for those interested here's some pics of Maroubra's old Olympia Speedway. The track has long since been replaced by cheap (at the time) housing as can be seen in the current satalite pic
  18. I'm only on the net once a day so for quick answers to questions about this car its best to give me a buzz on 0408 026 845
  19. Potential buyer has had a change of heart so come & check it out peoples. As I've said, serious offers welcome!
  20. Nick was about to be let into the pub at about 5am & thought it would be a good time to test the bouncers sense of humour... needless to say it made getting into the pub more difficult (though not impossible as we found out)
  21. I shudder to think
  22. Richo you're a bit of a machine of hatred to get on the piss again the next day! Jeez, I look a bit pissed in that last pic
  23. Teh stupidity was strong in that one No more beer for victor...
