  1. sounds crazy wonder how much they'd go for?
  2. http://www.knfilters.com/search/applicatio...px?Prod=HP-2008 That sucks.. Chances are it doesn't fit an RB25DET..
  3. Imagine all the fun you could have in a rear wheel drive ? I have something similar to the civic.. a Proton Satria GTi which I use as my daily.. goes hard but the front wheel drive ruins it.. Personal choice.. I'd go for the 180 with an sr20.. definitely.. however those vtec civics go hard too
  4. I see, there is a few GT-Four's in aus atm.. but they are hella rare.. I heard someone imported a GT-4 4 Door a little bit ago? thru Iron Chef Imports :s
  5. The same reason the 32 GT-R which is a 20 year old car sells for over 20k being half decent... 20 year old car for 20k? D: not many other compete
  6. yer, only problem is that they are pretty rare both in Australia and for importing in Japan.. Kind of hard to find .. sucks I'd so rather have a GT-4 than a GTT -.- haha yeah.. I'm referring to the 2door.. there is a black one on tradingpost going for 18k... looks pretty awesome.. but thats the only one I could find lol.
  7. Hey guys, I'm new here and before you flame I have used the search button and have had little success. What I'm wondering is if anyone has or has had the R34 GT-4? which is basically an RB25DE non turbo 4 wheel drive and steering similar to the GT-R I have heard that the only differences is the exterior and that the engine bay and some other factors contributing to the high performance of the GT-R are different between the two.. Just wondering about everyone's thoughts on these.. thinking of getting one and doing an RB26DETT or RB30DET transplant.. they are pretty rare but If I get a skyline I'd want it to compete with the GT-R series being 4wd is a great advantage in getting power to the wheels.
  8. Hey guys, I've been looking around at R34 GT-R's... which still isn't out of the picture however my cousin is a mechanic at a Sydney workshop.. I've been told by my cousin that the GT-4's are 4WD similar to the GT-R however still have the NEO Straight Six 2.5L... Now I've found a few for sale (They are quite rare) they obviously come non-turbo.. however I'm probably looking to do an engine transplant with a RB26DETT or an RB30DET.. Which will be fairly cost effective.. On tradingpost and carsales I've found a few in the 13-20k range.. I'm not looking to mimic and R34GTR or to pass a GT-4 as a GTR.. but has anyone ever considered this before? I'm thinking with the GT-R front end conversion etc.. It would look quite good and would end up costing me almost half of what a GT-R would? and the power can always be increased... :J
