  1. Dont use the Resistive type plugs if you can avoid it. Ask for BCP6ES not BCPR6ES, remove the R and remove the resistor, helps the spark strength alot.
  2. HPR 15 and a filter every 5,000 for me too. As it has been said, $50 worth of oil and filters is the best and cheapest insurance u'll find.
  3. Funny this exact issue has been going thru my head the last week. I put the plugs in gapped at 0.66mm from the word go without ever running 0.8mm. Is it worth pulling them out, opening up the gap and checking to see if the spark blows out? Brent.
  4. Absolutely!! I have done numerous RB timing belts and a few others. The Gates belts have lines on the. If you point the dowels on the cams up and set the bottom end to TDC then line up the belt marks with the punch marks. Of course its VERY important not to turn the bottom end independent of the cams, otherwise the valves will hit the piston tops and bend, if that hasnt already happened. The way around this, remove the cams so the valves arent depressed, easy. Brent.
  5. Flow rates mostly. Its hard to prove they are shit when theres so few specs available on them. Information like this isnt useful: "Will it generate boost throughout the entire rev range? The Generation 1 will generate boost in all applications up to 5ltrs" So if you have a 5L it might flow enough air to make 1 psi. Whoopy doo. It might be useful for low end gains which are always handy on a street car. If I said i sold a "Universal" turbo id be laughed out of the industry since its well known that not just any snail will do. So why should this be any different?
  6. Im using Lucas pads in my 31 with R33 brakes and im loving it. Not as good as the Bendix Metal Kings, but they dont make those anymore.
  7. Top Racing just moved into their new shop, definately worth speaking to.
  8. Ive used Top Racing before, never had any issues. Brent.
  9. Man that sucks. Still, see if you can get a bell housing off a smashed gearbox, save replacing the whole thing. Brent.
  10. Man that ate up part of my quota! Damn. Tho i did have to watch it twice to make sure i didnt like it. Why is that stickied? And where exactly is it from? EDIT: My bad, its not stickied at all.
  11. Vosbergen Heads in Maddington are very good. Not sure the cost tho, my basic head service, re-seat and re-guide with new seals was $360, oh and they fitted up some H/D valve springs too. Brent.
  12. Clutch could be/have been for cruise control. It would cut the cruise when pressed. The one for the accelerator is most likely the old kick down switch for the auto.
  13. How very Bunbury of you...
  14. So how long does it normally take after payment to be able to access the mebers section? I know im impatient, i want to see what im missing out on! Brent.
  15. My Car Goes Faster Now Because.... I put the head back on!
