  1. To be honest I think the rims are a complete mis match... and holyyyy tyre stretch? I hate to jump right in there with a negative, apart from the rims the car looks mint, perhaps lower it a tiny bit more. GL with the tune!
  2. what size are the guages?
  3. Check the for sale section here. There's a PFC for sale at least 1 a week... usually more tbh. Anywhere from $1100-1300 edit: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/351085-apexi-power-fc-for-sale/ Says he doesn't want to post it, he's in melb and you appear to be in bris. But it's worth a shot.
  4. Sooooo this is like buying an ice-cream cone from baskin robbins then getting the actual ice-cream from wendys. I don't see the point either tbh. But hey if you want to do it and you have the cash to throw around I don't see why not. Or is this a school holidays post?
  5. If Unigroup did the work then I doubt you'll see much of a gain.
  6. My steering wheel also shakes and ALSO makes that ticking noise ... usually next to a concrete barrier etc (eg: on m7)....
  7. This is something I might consider. However I didn't think the stock turbo could really do 200-220rwkw? If it was wouldn't it be right on the limit? Perhaps I might need to hi-flow the turbo I have now...? All of what you just said is about $2840 not including labour. I got no idea how much labour costs, I suppose each workshop has their own price. Unigroup is near me and I've heard nothing but good things. I might just go have a chat with Yavuz.
  8. I'll keep mine for a little while longer, save my pennies and probably just end up buying a 33 gtr.
  9. Oh I knew there was more than just strapping a turbo in, you have to have the supporting mods also. $10k sounds like a lot, I can afford it. However I'd feel guilty doing it haha.
  10. Right now I've got an R33 s2. Stock apart from cat-back and pod, running 162rwkw. It goes alright I wouldn't call it slow however I would just like more power. Just wondering to all of you who have modded yours, was it worth it? If I understand correctly, if I want 270+rwkw i'm looking at $5k+. There's firstly the decision to make whether to mod, then to what number? Everyone says "I only want 200-220rwkw" ... but then the always chase more. So I think if I end up doing it I'll just get a 3076r? And try and get around 270kw I change my mind every day about this... halp
  11. lol @ the spray paint in the pic can job?
  12. lol at you trying to sell them for $200 when you buy all 3 for $175 -- http://www.justjap.com/store/product.php?productid=17306&cat=267&page=1
  13. I drove past there the other day, I swear some motorists flashed their lights so often and so fast they would have almost broke their indicator stalk LOL... some people don't like police!
  14. 1) So when they do RBT, catch someone who is over the limit, who could potentially kill other innocent people... that' useless? Or catch a speeding driver who could also, potentially kill innocent people? I can understand you don't like them because they hide in spots and sometimes do things you probably consider dog, however they do, do some very good things. 2) He shouldn't have to 'avoid' the drop kick driver as he's keeping a safe distance right? I don't think that's what happened anyway, I think the driver appeared to pull slightly to the left, the OP thought it was OK to pass, then got ran into. 3) If you break a road law you're not a criminal, nowhere does it state this. Most road laws that you break can be deal with via a ticket, however yes, some matters you can be charged for and you will be a 'criminal'. eg: drink driving. ( I answered this question in quite the literal sense I know, however I just thought I'd say it anyway). To the OP: I can only go off what you told me, which to be honest I don't think is the whole story. However if what you're saying is true, I suggest you be a little more patient with obvious dopey drivers. If I saw someone driving like an idiot the last thing I would want to do is over-take them when I'm unsure if they're pulling over or not. You're partially at fault there common sense wise anyway. You said it yourself, you observed them driving without indicating, etc. Lesson learnt, keep clear of dopey drivers.
  15. http://fluidtek.com.au/ $344.95 Only posted because you said "cheapest around" . Sorry, but you're way off.
  16. I don't mean to sound rude. But don't skylines come with this anyway? I have a switch that I flick from left to right and my mirrors open up. Isn't that standard?
  17. HTC Nexus One (Google phone) Excellent condition No scratches Works perfectly Comes with original box Charger + EXTRA car charger Work has given me a phone so I don't see the need for this phone anymore. Locked to Vodafone network.
  18. No insurance covers you for track days rofl...
  19. Buy a car worth 4k, pay $1, 600 in insurance, no thanks. cy@
  20. just a question, why did you go to all the trouble of choosing the car, waiting ages for it to come over, only to sell it? this just puzzles me to no end.
  21. I'd probably go for the F6, they sound mean and with little modding go like a rocket. ben do you have a hardcover for ya ute? just don't understand how people can pay so much for a ute and have a tarp on the back, ruins everything imo...
  22. Cops have radar detector detectors... if you're caught it's like a $1, 000 fine and they'll confiscate it and turn it into a radar detector detector. How many times do you expect to be caught speeding without one? once a year, twice? Buying the radar detector and paying the fine for having it won't out weigh the cost of those two fines so from a purely financial point of view you're in the red.
  23. the CIU don't see THAT much though. They don't see anymore than GDs or Highway... they turn up AFTER the crash
