  1. Yup I've got mine, it was there when I bought it off the guy. (He imported it himself); It was in the passenger footwell...
  2. double post
  3. It doesn't rub on it per say. It feels like it hits it very shunt-like... I only really notice it when I'm going down a hill, and right at the bottom of a hill there's like a TINY dip in the the road. Poor illustration but you get the idea. I gotta admit I don't know whether it's hitting that thing for sure either, but wtf else is it hitting?! =\
  4. Your name suits you. Where did he say that? All he said was that he gets around 18L/100km per tank when he puts his foot down. That's pretty much spot on 300km. DUDE.
  5. I bet it was his GF. And you just pissed him off.
  6. Dude he just said he's been driving with his foot down everywhere. You do that and you'll get around 300km a tank... welcome to driving a turbo car.
  7. thanks dude I think I'll do that next time... =]
  8. http://justjap.com/store/product.php?produ...=267&page=1 Will they fit into the bottom DIN slot into my R33? Anyone got these?
  9. HAY GUYZZ IM FRUM NIGERIA PLZ SEND ME MUNEY??
  10. I think it's around 54 litres? lol ... costs around $70 ish to fill up ... on 98
  11. Got no idea what the offset is. -- But that bar or whatever it is, is in the right place is it?
  12. Mostly happens when there's a very sharp dip in the road, pot hole, whatever. Also happens when turning sharply on a bumpy road. (It does it on some corners of Old Pacific Highway) ... is that metal bit above my tyre supposed to be sticking out that far? The tyre size's I have is 235/45R17 on 17" Work rims. Standard suspension (I think) ... it's not low at all.
  13. So you're getting around 300km a tank? Well that's what I get, but I don't baby it everywhere... my car only has 3.5" cat-back.
  14. I've decided on the 8100. Repco's price was $76, another workshop near me just quoted me $49. I'll ring some other places tomorrow. I'll need to grab a standard Nissan filter too.
  15. Yeah I'm gonna go Motul, just gotta choose one now. I live in Syd, it gets hot here, but not as hot as the gold coast I guess... and we're coming into Autumn now, it's pretty cool around here right now. So in a cold climate, what oil are you supposed to use? thicker or thinner? Again, I'm a bit confused.
  16. Argh this thread has just done my head in more. There seems to be no consistency with the answers. I know there's not 1 answer to the question "Which oil to put in my R33 GTS-T" but what's a decently priced oil for my car? Around the $70 dollar mark? edit: She's stock apart from cat back. -- I'm thinking Motul 4100 Turbolight Engine Oil -- will this be OK?
  17. Pardon me for being cynical. But there's one thing that puzzled me about the story. Firstly you say she was coached into going by friends, sure, not that unbelievable. But if she was coached into going there and truly unhappy there why wouldn't she tell you everything that happened? (Or your sister?) People who don't talk have something to hide. I know we all like to think that the people we know wouldn't do certain things, but young people are curious about drugs and sex, is it really that hard to imagine that she didn't want to go? I'm glad that she's at the very least safe... and look, I don't know you, or your niece, but that's just my observation.
  18. I made 162rwkw @ 8 psi with just a 3.5" cat-back. Everything else standard, even the air-box. IMO get it re-tuned.
  19. How much for the girl?
  20. Power does seem a bit on the low side. Mine just ran 162rwkw with only a 3.5" apexi cat-back. Everything else 100% standard. Running only 8psi.
  21. Personally I love my turbo timer. They cost peanuts and worth every penny. When you stop your car the last thing you want to do is sit in it for 2 minutes twiddling your thumbs, especially after a late night, or arriving at a party, or anything really. Especially when you have passengers or family in the car, it's awkward to explain to them that you can't walk into the restaurant with them just yet because your car has to idle for 2 minutes. Don't be a tightass, buy one.

  23. I'm comin' -- see you all there.
  24. Mine sits at around 6-700 rpm.
  25. If you have a a stock car and stock airbox. You can't really hear the bov, what if you have a POD in an enclosed box? Does it muffle the sound just as much as the stock airbox?
