  1. Sydney does have them, they're in the city and they're black. And yes they're to combat basically what you said... I can't tell whether you were being facetious or not but there's more than just 'a few drunken yobs' in the city.
  2. Spotted WPN-33R @ Northmead... you were getting a pizza haha. You need some rims dude.
  3. No. But you sound like a virgin. Welcome to SAU.
  4. I guess we don't piss away our tax payers money as much as the Euros? HWP get to drive F6's and SS's... hardly anything to complain about.
  5. dyno printout and interior pics?

Whenever it's your word against the Cops, you're going to lose. Good luck.
  7. It's a fog light, it is illegal for it to be on during certain conditions, he was given a fine. What are cops supposedly getting away with?
  8. Hey look another baseless accusation from some butt hurt teenager. Think about what you just said... if after you've thought about it and haven't changed your mind about that statement I suggest you either go back to school, or ... most likely in your case, stay in school. And what fine country are you from sir? If it's so much better there what the f**k are you doing here? Can I hazard a guess at saying you're from a middle eastern country? Irony anyone? PS: @OP: Let us know how the case goes.
  9. You should be more vague, it'll help people heaps when they think about spending over forty thousand dollars.
  10. Just get a Corolla. They're bulletproof, good on petrol, don't look too bad, however probably not as stylist as it's competitors. But at least when you turn the key you know it's going to start every time... and really, that's what you want in a daily.
  11. did you replace the front bar at all? it looks like a different shade of silver to the rest of the car? especially in the middle
  12. saw an R35 at star city tonight... it had boost stickers all over it...

  14. Wrong. Police are allowed to 'estimate' your speed and book you on it. If you take it to court it becomes the Police's word against yours (and since HWP/TMU are 'trained' to estimate speed and are ALLOWED to do this) that makes you pretty much stuffed.
  15. Is it just me or does the numbers on the Odo not line up properly? Specifically the number 2
  16. As per your replies in this thread I hope the judge throws the book at you. And knowing our court system he will... you have been warned.
  17. If you want to know prices just ring them. I haven't really heard any bad things about them.
  18. Go the lambo man!!! Also is there an age restriction on the rental? I assume it's atleast 25+?
  19. First of all, welcome! Secondly, I found this thread to be quite helpful when it came to me buying my ride. Have a read. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/bu...e-f-t35129.html
  20. wow that's impressive, nice!
  21. Ok so it's lost 70% of it's original value in what, 14 ish years. That's not holding its value...
  22. I wouldn't bother going to court, you have no case. I mean what are you going to say? The judge won't care if someone in front of you was going 80 and you 'gave it a quick squirt' or whatever, that's still speeding ie: breaking the law. The judge will probably give you a longer sentence. Also radar detectors are illegal in every state apart from W.A, you can face fines up to $1050 and an additional $1050 if you refuse to surrender the device. edit: And yes, the HWP/TMU have radar detector detectors... what's funny is that they make the radar detector detector from the units they seize from people lol.
  23. Yes that's correct. Police have less power than you think, the absolute smartest thing she could have done is just not answer the door at all. Nothing Cops can really do... they would've possibly come back the next day and try and question her further about the incident but at least there would have been no proof of her being pissed. If she opened the door and then refused to go to the station she would then be arrested under suspicion of driving a motor vehicle while intoxicated (becuase just by looking at her you can tell she was drunk). Also I'd just like to go a little off topic and say that yes Cops probably do pull over more imports than anything else. But it's because imports are more prone to illegal mods, would you go around pulling over Corollas all day? No of course not, why? Because it would be a waste of your time and you'd never fine anyone. They 'pick' on you for a reason, you're doing illegal shit!
