Right now I'm also getting woeful fuel economy. Dunno what it is but I know it's disgusting. Something that has always irked me about my car is that the temperate gauge needle NEVER sits in the middle. It's half way between the middle and C once warmed up. I presume this isn't normal? What does this mean in relation to the 02 sensor, anything?

Pardon my ignorance. But what specific reason does it matter what side the turbo is on in relation to RH drive or LH drive?

OK I found out today. I was in the SS today and I was told that it comes standard from Holden however they do get a better brakes package. Didn't ask about the Fords, however I assume it's much the same. As for the weight yeah it probably weighs a bit more, probably due to the fact that they carry a lot around in the boot... and there's the computer in the car, the ANPR gear etc. So perhaps we don't even lower them, at least it wasn't mentioned to me... They might just look low because of the extra weight, i'm unsure.

AFAIK the only mods we do to the car is lower it. I'll be working with HWP soon so I'll find out then...

I can't really think of a situation where we would. IIRC it doesn't have any dash lights etc. If for some reason ALL the cars are being used and we just needed to go out of the area or something like that maybe? RX8's are pretty meh anyway, I'd prefer to be riding in a xr6t.

I'm a cop and I don't share this view (obviously). I do agree though, most HWP blokes are older and only appreciate v8's for obvious reasons... that's all they knew growing up etc. It's just a shame that imports have this stigma attached to them... especially with a certain genre of people. I kinda don't like telling people what car I drive... I immediately get the "fully sick lebo car eh???"

If it's the "age issue" between 33/34 then just get a 97 Series 2 GTS-T. Set you back 10 grand, then you have 10 grand on mods. Or buy a GTS-T for $13-14k with all the mods done to it and you're also set. But on the other hand if it's the style... imo the 33 wins hands down. How anyone can say it's ugly beyond me, 34 GTT's make me wanna hurl. But then again none of this really matters does it? It's like asking someone what their favourite colour is, does it really matter if it's different to yours?
