While not strictly a V ....... spotted a black Infiniti FX50 S heading east on Cheltenham Rd, then north on Eastlink, 26/02 about 9.15am ..... man that machine looks mean!!
I had my V serviced at Dandenong Nissan - seem like helpful folks down there - can't remember what it cost now but it wasn't outrageous. Last time I had it done at the Workshop in Mentone as it's way closer to home - managed to get a good deal for them on Scoopon. PM me if you want more details.
I'm in need of new pads, and more than likely rotors for the rear at least. Has anyone dealt with these guys before?

Also, what's the advantage/disadvantage of cross-drilling and/or slots on the rotors? I presume cooling is one of them ....

They look somewhat the same as the Infiniti that I've seen floating around ....
Tyres - it would be worth looking at www.online-tyres.com.au, just recently got a great deal on some Conti PremiumContact 2 from there. They're based in Melb but will ship to Bris.
I'm currently running the RE050A - I think they were brand new when I got the car but can't be 100% on that. Anyhow, done a tad over 30k km on them, maybe 34k max, and they're worn out.
Have ordered the Continental PremiumContact 2 which are going on tonight. Will let you know how they go.
Dunno if I should be bringing up this old thread again or not - wondering if anyone can tell me the wear rating for the Kumho KU31?
Also, has anyone ever tried Continental ContiPremiumContact or ContiSportContact tyres?
