I have just finished the reset the ecu and took it for a drive! BEAUTIFUL, I have yet to take it for a long drive. Tommorrow, if all goes good, I will make a new thread about it. Any thanks all... I have removed both terminals! man, the job took 1 hour plus cause my amp is fixed to the back wall! have to removed that to access the battery!

are you sure about +ve first? cause the article said the -ve first, I am confused! doing it right now...

Hi, I need to disconnect battery to reset ecu. my question is which terminal do you disconnect first? +Ve or -Ve first? would I need to disconnect both in order for the whole car to open circuit? any safety precautions when do so? Car battery provide 12V power right? instead of 240V at home! so if any thing goes wrong, i wont become a :ghost: right!!! :headspin:

no i don't have one at the front, but there is a terminal there.... it says +ve and -ve... so I don't know if that is the unit where I can disconnect, but any how, which terminal do we disconnect?

Hi, I have the same problem in a R33 Gtst, I think it is very common. I have Bendix Ultimate Brake Pads. when I've them installed brand new, they were so good with no sound at all! Not to mention that the discs were also machined. The mechanic told me the pads are some what metallic pads so they do squeel eventually! I have to take his words for it as it did after a month of city driving! Also, the brakes are excellent! Stops me no problem. I guess you just have to put up with the noise!

So, what's the money involved just to put the car in for S&S?
