Yes, from personal experiance, they are overall very good workshop but often charge prestige prices!!! John himself is willing to charge you $n+1 dollars if you let him know you have $n in your bank. so carlo? how long did it take you? i believe you need to have soldering skills right?

Have I done something wrong? I've managed to get the front totally in air and not enough to get the stand in. Something turned me off from going further, the whole half of the ccar is coming up, it's nearly lifting the rear wheel as well... I back her down!

what's the purpose of releasing the park brakes?

Sorry if I sound nOOb. Is it dangerous to relase the park brakes while the car is on stand? Even with the bricks at the rear wheels, like are they gonna stop the car from rolling back assuming now the car has gradient sloping down to the back? 2nd question, from the pictures, the way you jacked the car up, how come the car is on the trolley instead of the stand? I am not picking on what you did, cause I am don't know the what to do! is it suppose to be standing on the trolley jack and the stand is a back up incase the trolley give way?

I've just jacked my car up, at the front, and is it normal for my front left hand wheel to spin freely? Like you can just use hand force to turn it! MY PARK BRAKE IS ON! (pulled up)!

I need to jack the rear up, where exactly is the rear diff? I see a circular metal piece after the rear jacking point. is that where it is? I need to take the wheel off for some chrome cleaning. And I already purchased some CAR STANDS that can hold it for long period of time. The problem now is, once I jack up the car at the jacking point, where do i put the stands? I was think jacking up the car at the diff as you guys said, then leave a stand on the jacking point. lower the jack and wala, the line is STANDING ON A STAND. help me out please. is this right?

how come they don't allow you a test drive? I mean if you really gonna buy it, they have to let you test drive it before you buy it! and you can ask for them to come along with you during the test drive. Also bring your parents along if you can! I've test driven my first new car when i was young like you!
