Its had a custom 3" cat back system put on. (Looks sightly different from pics) Which is actually a custom system from Hi-Tech Mufflers. Lambros knows what he is doing, really nice stainless system. HKS cat back system is still available for the moment, but might might be being bought separate by someone else. Open to offers. Nothing will offend, as long as its not ridiculous.... Like the old cliche goes... need it sold asap.

For sale is my 1989 Gunmetal R32 GTR. Have owned it for 1.5 years, bought it through Just Jap from the first Australian owner. Odometer reads approx 121500km. Has just been freshly rebuilt, only 500km on the new Engine. Have receipts for everything since i've owned her. Very regretful sale. Truly me pride and joy. Selling as I have changed jobs and require something with more space. Here are the specs of her... 1989 R32 GTR, approx 121500km RB26 engine freshly rebuilt JE Forged Pistons Attkd Forged Conrods Brand New R33 GTR Crank Tomei Metal Head Gasket N1 Water Pump N1 Oil Pump Sump Baffle New Gates Belts HKS GT-SS Turbos HKS Split Dump Pipes Blitz Front Pipe Catco Hi-flow Cat HKS Hi-Power Cat-back Exhaust (Has a Nismo Rear muffler section to keep it quite, but comes with the rest of the HKS system if you want full noise!!) 70mm Upgrade Intercooler Apexi Power FC w/ Hand Controller Blitz Dual SBC Spec R Boost Controller Stock Brakes and Suspension Stock Rims. Full Alarm System w/ immobiliser and Turbo Timer Was tuned by Jim at Dart Automotive in Punchbowl. Made 274awkw @ 18psi (Thats with stock airbox, so more in it if you change to pods) Tried to keep this car as low key as a GTR can be. Running stock rims, and also relatively discreet under the bonnet. Really the only problem on the car is the wing has some paint chips and a few flat paint areas on the body. Looking for $22,000 or there abouts. But open to offers as long as they are realistic. (Rebuild alone cost $12,000, not including turbos, Power FC, EBC or Full exhaust systems from turbos back.) Located in the south of sydney. Contact Alex ~ 0404 072 754 [email protected]

Where do I send my money?? Do you want me to send you my bank details and internet banking passwords too?? Bahahahahahha.... What is wrong with people!! -
Engine/Car: 1989 R32 GTR (RB26DETT obviously) Type of failure: Loss of Compression (Read: Catastrophic engine failure!!) Factors influencing the failure: One of the Stock Turbos deciding to let go and the have the turbine travel into the engine to have some fun. State of tune of the engine: Stock Suspension and tyres: Stock Suspension, Bridgestone G3 on Stock Rims. Oil used and service interval: Serviced every 5000km, used no oil until the failure. Then used most of it in the km's after the failure. General comments: Probably should of changed the turbos earlier... But now the the GTR gets a new forged engine!! Cheers, Alex

Its all good... With all the ones on the road without them, you'd think there aren't standard!
-
JDM came with them... Thats for sure. It was the bonnet badge that was different between the ADM and JDM, not the Boot Badge.
-
Not a clue... All i know is mine has it, and its staying there. And will be replaced if it gets a respray.

Just spotted a dark blue (I think) R32 gtst with HCR-23T plates on king georges rd turning into forest rd in peakhurst. Nice looking stocker! Had a SAU sticker on rear window...

My brother-in-law is the person responsible for building this car originally. Put a fair bit of time and effort (and money) into it!! I can vouch for it being a quick and slightly scary car.... Whoever buys it will have alot of fun in it. (What happened to all the little non-defect touches?? eg. The pod filter air box, etc.)

Like was said, its your regulator. Had this problem in the 32 GTR about 6mths ago. Luckily noticed it early, and had no battery explosions. Best to go get it fixed asap, cause as mentioned, it can affect more then just the battery. The GTR didnt like 18v. It messed with the speakers, ABS, etc.... Thankfully no permanent damaged occurred.

Coil Pack Compatability
gurumaster22 replied to GTR_JOEY's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
I know they all have different part numbers from nissan. But for the life of me can not understand why they would be different. Unless they are slightly different in the way they are wired. Be interested to know the difference if there is any.... -

Yeah she was... Bought her from the original owners. Even had all the factory options. Including the custom factory inserts in the seats. Really miss her actually. -
Favourite 1970's Jap Car

Hakosuka for sure. But have always liked the classic Toyotas.... Had a few. TA22, RA23, MS55 Crown. Here's the RA23. Do miss her. -
Yeah, look for ages for a later one, 1993/94. But my one was completely stock. Just what I wanted, so I know that the mods done, are done properly. However wont be going overboard with it. Want to keep it as stock looking as I can...

Looks the goods mate. I bought myself a '89 GT-R almost a year ago now. Its my daily driver, and never had any serious issues. I've had to buy a few bits and pieces, but more for piece of mind. (Did have a stuffed coil that caused a slight misfire, but replaced with splitfires, which I was planning anyway.) Im in love with it, just know it will drain my wallet eventually as I chase more power.... Forget what others say, they are just jealous!! Enjoy your car, care for it, and it will reward you with a grin from ear to ear day in day out.

This is how I was given one. You can actually find out where the complaint came from by calling the DECC officer on your notice.... And I personally went to campbelltown. Very fair. Still a massive pain in the backside though!!

Best Exhaust Suited For My Gtr..
gurumaster22 replied to r32gtrv-spec's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I have a HKS 409 Hi-Power (Not the Silent) and it is very nice. Got it from Just Jap for $1000. For a higher flow exhaust it is not loud at all. But sounds great, especially when you give it some! I know it is quieter then the Apexi N1, as a mate of mine had the N1 on his R32 GTS-T and mine is alot quieter at idle/low revs. Really depends on how much attention you want on the road...
