  1. Ok that's good, my mother assured me that there was a yellow card inside the box. Getting it sent up on Monday and I'll see what the police (or my fists? ) can do.
  2. Only got their mobile number though. Have an idea about where they live too, but not well enough to break into a house and rumage around for my stuff... But back to my original question, is the only place I'll find my serial number on the warranty card?
  3. It was . They broke in and removed it! Wouldn't be surprised if it was another Skyline driver, how else would they know it was actually worth money... Luckily I had a spare ECU sitting around or I wouldn't even be able to start my own car. On the plus side, I have a lead on the theif, just not sure how to get it back off them.
  4. Yes, I'm talking about the original cardboard box, unluckily it's at my parent's place in Albany, but there is a 7 character number above the barcode (similar to 414-N011). Not sure if there's a warranty card, it was imported through Greenline... There's also a FCC3 XXX-XXXXX number. Unfortunately my poor mother is a little confused by all the Japanese on the things I left inside the box [probably including the warranty card, got a photo of yours with the important stuff blanked out of course?], might need to drive down to Albany :| If it helps, it is for a R33 GTR.
  5. Had my PowerFC stolen recently. 95% I know who did it, I'm just wondering if there'll be a serial number on my box that I can match to that on the unit itself, and where I'll find that number if it exists? Apologies if this is the wrong section of the forum, it would increase my forced induction performance if I can retrieve it though?
  6. http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.16963 . pretty crap though.
  7. Well, I did because I'm not driving my 'line to uni anymore. Didn't see anything particularly specific anyway (re: areas)... If someone's targeting cars then I'm sure they know how many are around.
  8. Mine? Had bits of brick in the brick shaped dent yep . Ah well I'm deferring to public transport until I get a daily Learned my lesson I suppose. It's slightly better than car vandalsim... In other news - car now in panel beaters! Hooray. Getting front lip touched up a bit as a treat to myself too. Haha.
  9. Wow, must be a skyline hater around there then..! Out of interest how much was it to repair? I'm dropping mine off tomorrow (costing $500), but I'm not sure what the end result is going to be...
  10. Your plates = 1CPUXXX? Nice car. I was parked in that car park . Just at the far end of it. Got quotes this morning: Advantage: $800 Alpha One: $500 No waiting times luckily. Should get it sorted in the next couple of days.
  11. Oh that's you! I always see you parked next to me tuesday mornings . What time do you reckon you saw it yesterday? I'm thinking it would have happened pretty early (I got there at like 8:30am), surely someone would have been witness if it was any busier... I noticed it when I went to grab a textbook @ ~3pm :|. Heh, everyone knows UWA is pretentious-ville. Quotes tomorrow yay! If it's ever possible to enjoy spending money on intentional damage. Going to: Alpha 1 Panel and Paint Bowra Panel and Paint Advantage Panel and Paint ‎(All in Osborne Park), and possibly Belair Smash Repairs, Landsdale. Should be enough quotes for a while .
  12. Lol, thought it might've been . I left this afternoon at like 5pm and that was early Got there at 7:30am this morning especially to steal your spot. I hate doing work at home (my house is almost smaller than my garage, which sucks), so sometimes I go early to get a good park and do some work... Except tuesday, that's just crappy 8-6 . *edit* Woops, those times did seem weird!
  13. So... Got back to the car this arvo - wipers were up. Was that a joke or does someone not like me! I'm paranoid now lol. Nar... I was parked next to a kerb. Is that a white 34 GTR? I've seen one parked nearby uni before. Didn't see Ps though.
  14. Lol yep, I do try and park properly to avoid assorted damage. Fat lot of good it did me Good stuff, thanks dude.
  15. Oh I'd give it a shot if I wasn't so lazy - my classes are mostly on the other side of the map! I usually park in a closer, more popular (= more witnesses?) visible spot, but I woke up too late this morning... Expensive sleep in I'll call into Advantage tomorrow/wednesday, they do a good job? Might fix my speedbump related scratches while I'm at it . Haha.
  16. Pretty much. I'm actually surprised it could happen to me, I thought I was cautious enough (was my downfall in this case - I park next to kerbs to avoid door slamming - which also makes it easier to damage it intentionally I suppose). Parking office weren't very helpful either (no cameras apparently, and if there were cameras I couldn't see any footage)... There goes my faith in humanity .
  17. Basically, was going to my car today when I noticed that this happened to my side panel. Any of the Curtin skyliners see anything? I was in P9B (close to education building 501). It appears to have been done with a brick. I mean, it serves me right for parking a nice car in a carpark... But surely it's not too nice to invoke jealousy? That or I've pissed off someone that I didn't know about. I'm certainly taking the P plates down now. I was just in the process of buying a 'rolla daily too! Grr. Anyway, where are the good panel beaters NoR?
  18. From the horse's mouth (WA government!) http://www.ors.wa.gov.au/TopicsRoadSafety/...werfulCars.aspx "Contrary to popular myth, young drivers are no more at risk of death or serious injury by driving powerful cars than other drivers. Vehicle performance is unrelated to a novice driver's risk of being killed or seriously injured in the first two years of holding a licence." So no need to worry fellow P platers .
  19. I got some Ultimate at BP Manning road yesterday arvo, hope it wasn't contaminated...
  20. Hey, could I get antimatter33? Thanks.
  21. Quick question: Will an ECU from a '97 GTR be fine to use in my '95 GTR? They have slightly different revision numbers I think.
  22. Aha! Another GTR owner in Albany. I'd have easily given you around $12k a couple of months ago when I was looking for mine . But srsly, hang on to it until it's fixed/rego'd. 32s aren't gunna go down in price, especially seeing as it seems to be in pretty good condition...
  23. Name: Nick Age: 18 Car: Borrowed toyota prado while I'm looking for the right skyline Job: General slacker and occasional student. Music taste: Experimental/Jazz/Metal. Hobbies: Cars. And umm..? Location: Albany! Anyone else here from there?
