Oh ok. So the series 2 silver is different to the series 1. I was going to go to Smithfield crash repairers who have a great name for themselves. How do the crash repairers know where to find the code mixing for the paint?

Hi guys i have had my 1997 R33 s2 for 2 years now. I decided to go a 400r body kit, but keep the original front. The guy who previously fitted and sprayed my car did a really shit job, the colors of the kit don't match the car at all, they are way too light. I'm looking for someone in Adelaide who can clean up the kit again and refit as well as respraying( Kit only) Can anyone point me in the right direction, and is my paint code for a 1997 r33 gts-t s2 this: KL0 platinum silver 2M. The guy previously said he couldn't find my paint code for the car?

Cam awesome set up on your car. try, http://www.uniqueautosports.com.au/ and look under parts catalogue/R33 gts/ styling and there in there at the bottom genuine gtr indicators. I have a 4oor side skirt and rear bar setup with my original r33 type m front and it still looks ok.(too bad the guy who fitted it could match my paint properly!)

I debated getting a 400r front car for my R33 series 2, but i think the original bar is good because i can get away with no scraping. Maybe get a Bomex front bar.

I use to have a small Hitachi battery in my R33. It went flat easily so i upgraded to a decent 4oocca one and its fine.

You definatley done your timing belt stuff too man?

Yeah mate, sounds like your tires are done, unless there not directional then rotate them. I have the same problem at this stage, i need to buy new fronts because i have directional and they are chewed out in the front.
