  1. Generally for any un used portion of your policy you will receive a refund, depending if you pay annually or monthly. If you have a total loss, doesnt matter if you recently paid for your renewal/prem you won't get any refund. Also if you insure mods if your car is written off, some insurance companies will salvage the vehicle and any mods you listed. If you get rear ended and the insurance company decides to salvage your vehicle they have a right for anything you list on your policy.
  2. Apparently its hitting later tonight...
  3. 2004 xr6 full comp Sum insured : 18000 agreed value excess 350 prem: $570 32 gtst Third party fire theft. Sum insured: $12000 excess: 350 prem $474. was quoted $950 for full comp. Handy if you work for a insurance company.
  4. I have heard stories of people gunning it through the tunnel and a speaker voice telling them to slow down.. dunno if its porkies though.
  5. Gonna have to get some injectors cleaned soon, anyone have any preferrences on where to go or opinions?
  6. Personally I would love a GTR. Imho 32 has the best looking chassis although you will have to sacrifice interior comforts. If you want a car that is cheap to maintain, has a lot of aftermarket parts available and you don't see on the road often, I would recommend a 32 gtst.
  7. Like last Friday/Thursday? Mass amounts of police pulling people over for speeding on Mitchell Freeway after City West before Leederville Traino. Remember its 80ks until you pass Vincet Street exit. Saw alot of vans and tradies getting tickets. Seems like they may be doing this on a regular basis so watch out!

  9. yeah isnt that uhh Instant loss of your learners permit? Thats the whole reason behind a Learners permit.....
  10. Only once in the last year.. maybe because I only take it out on the weekend.. Police pulled my mate over in his dc2 integra, pointed at his pod filter and insisted it was a turbo. had to fake a coughing fit in order not to laugh. Reminded me of high school when you got in trouble and laughing only made the situation worse.
  11. I got stickered because the previous owner of my car had a 4inch cannon on it that was banging around. Upon going over the pitts I received a long list of things to fix/repalce. Kept going over to get extentions and on the fifth time my rego ran out after i passed the defect and had to pay for a whole new inspection again to license my car. Then got rolled again by the red clip board prick at welshpool and needed another extention. But in the end it was all good. Got new rego on my car never looking back.
  12. One of the best feelings ever man. I got yellowed 6 hours after I bought my car (even showed the cops the transfer papers). Took me 7 attempts to get over the pits.. But I did it and it felt awesome. Congrats
  13. Plugs from bunnings
  14. Mad mile !!!! (advise a getting a radar detector) or the Hills around Mt Nasura is a freshing way to end the weekend. I wouldnt go in the wet though.
  15. Beltronics STI (Imported from America). Comes with a speaker. It saved my license about 3 times since I have used it. AFIAK you can mount them but they are illegal to turn on. Sounds like a rumor but then again it sounds like a silly law. http://www.delonixradar.com.au/radar-detec...rowler/prs4sti/ oooh one step ahead
  16. This should grind your gears, but at least make you chuckle haha
  17. Man it was a joke of a game. German midfield/defense is far to advance for anything pim verbeek can conjure. Socceroos are not a bad team, they just need a coach like Gus to make sure each player is playing the correct position. 4 -0 is a disgusting lost.
  18. Mill Point Road - heading towards Fremantle (Coming from Riverside drive, as you decide whether to go on freeway south/north) Guaranteed hand helds: they wait till after the apex of the corner and zap people coming by. I have seen them there numerous times. South Street heading towards freeway (from canning vale). After Roe Highway over pass through the lights and around the corner. They are normally waiting near bustop just before the next lights. Those are they only 2 I have seen at least 3 times year . Anyone tried picking up fix speeding cameras with their GPS yet? They work over in Melbourne so why not here?
  19. Hahaha he reminds me of the guys dad from the initial D movie. But without the excessive drinking/smoking/tofu/beating of people. few words. RAC roadside assistance. Classic cover. 100k of towing from point of breakdown. Not only will it help you now, but for future reference. By the way its $130 a year. Ive blown cooler piping/radiator hoses and all i have to do is call a number and wait by my car. Once in the middle of mill point road during peak hour. metal cover on the pod filter when through my afm......
  20. Yo at one point my car would not idle in neutral (without constantly tapping the gas), would not even boost. Took it to Ben at KYP he just grunted and replaced some things fixed it in about 10 minutes and charged me $35.00. Prior to that I tried all other solutions, AFM cleaning/replacing with brake fluid, tightening my bov, checking cooler piping. Best bet is to take it to a reputable shop, tell em your problem and they will fix it. Unless your car just needs a tune ....
  21. Wow its a bit of rubber and it made perth now. Saturday night was classic. a kid in dads merc ml500 4wd decides to boot it past us through the riverside drive fixed camera location. He got flashed easily doing 80+ and we just laughed at him.
  22. Keen for some hill bombing tonight, gotta kill off my turbo before i replace it tomorrow
  23. If you have a GPS they will notify you. Worked for a mate of mine when he was over in melbs recently.
