hay guys i red through thes 4 pages, and i noticed many people mentioning a tune before any mods, correct me if im wrong but after a few mods for example air flow with new exhaust new intake, require a retune? to refamiliarise the ecu with it?

great post above! i was in the same boat as u when i first was getting my p's, i wanted booost, but new i couldnt drive it until i got my fulls, had 15grand saved, spent some buying a sedan civic vti for run around (good space, great GREAT reliability, bit of go for a 1.6, sounds great), banked the rest of the money gaining interest, 3 years on, im getting fulls in 2 months, made about 2 grand on interest, bout 2 sell that civic for bit more than i paid, budget is now over 15grand, so im buying boost very soon not worth buying a car and garaging for at least 2 years (u said u were just about 2 get your p's) coz u will, without a doubt, take it for a spin, and its not worth getting pulled over for and losing your licence thus delaying the time before you can legally drive it.
